I Missed You

The wind rides up my sleeves as I run through the cold morning winds toward her. In the distance I saw her gaze lock onto me as I threw my things to the side by the grass.

Throwing my arms around her, I could feel her warmth on me as soon as our bodies touched and her arms were finally around me. 

" I missed you." I say as I snuggle my head onto her shoulder.

"Jade," she laughed. " I missed you too."

I remain still as I ask her my next question. " How was Japan?"

"It was amazing," she answered as she let go of me and gave me a huge smile, " I still wish you came with me though. I guarantee  you that it would've been tons better" she laughed.

I giggle. " Me too. But mom insisted I go look for a job and earn some money for things."

"Aww it's ok Jadey," she giggled. "Just promise me next time you'll come. It's not the same without you." she huffed.

"Oh I know," I say sarcastically as I link my arms with hers as we walk to the benches where I dumped my things," So are you ready for a new school  year?"

"Of course. Why wouldn't I? I'm dying to get to music." she clapped.

"Well you're not the only one." I smirk as I bent down and grabbed my bag from the  grass.

As we got to class we took a seat right at the front and grabbed our notebook, pens and iPad.

Moments later our Professor had arrived with a big smile on his face, "Morning." he greeted.Everyone replied in unison as he removed his bag off his shoulder and walked to the middle of the room, "now for those who don't know me I'm Mr James Reid. I'll be your professor for the rest of the year,' he announced, "now as I'm scanning the room," he continued," I see a few familiar faces here like Ms Thirlwall and Ms Edwards over here at the front." he laughed.

"What can we do sir?," Perrie smiled, "music is our everything."

"Well I couldn't agree with you more Perrie. Now everyone else also seems to be familiar except for the curly haired gentleman at the back?" As I turned around I spotted a young boy around my age with emerald eyes and brown curly hair. Just like sir said.

"Now may I get your name?" Sir asked as I faced the front again.

"Harry," the boy answered. " Harry Styles."

Sir let out a smile. " Styles. Would you so happen to be related to Gemma Styles?" Harry let out a laugh. " Yeah I am. She's my older sister."

"Well then. I expect as much dedication from you Mr Styles," he chuckled,"now moving on," he said as he walked to his desk and grabbed a marker. "I would like you guys to have a wonderful first day back. So today you'll be writing a song with a partner."

"Yes!" I squeal

"Great to hear that you're excited Jade. Now you'll have 3 lessons to complete this task." As he turned from the board I raised my hand.

"Yes Jade?"

"Will we be performing our musical piece?"

"Most certainly. I would love to hear everyone's voices again. Beautiful amount of talent in this room. Now get started."

As I reached for my notebook I felt a gush of wind pass me and a scent of cologne. I rose my head to see Harry stand before me, "Can I be your partner?" he asked, a smile on his face showing off his dimples. 

My mouth fell agape as I looked towards Perrie. " I actually already have one," I say apologetically, "I'm so sorry Harry." 

" Oh. I - don't worry." he muttered as he went off to leave.

"Wait," I say, "stay there," I instruct, "Pez," I say nudging her.

"I don't think sir would mind a group of three." she answered.

"True," I say as I raise my hand once more. " Sir!"

"Yes?"

"Can me and Perrie have a +1?"

"I wouldn't have a problem with that. I don't want any form of exclusion in this class." he smiled.

"Harry, I say. " Come on." I gestured him. He smiled and took a seat and moved it in front of us both and thanking us. 

"All good." Perrie smiled.

"Now," I say. I actually think we should plan what genre we should go for."

"True," Perrie added. " But I actually have this very emo song I wrote. We could probably use it. But we're a group so you guys can decide. I don't think it's that good though but maybe if you read it?...."

"Can you give us a sample?" Harry asked.

"Yeah babe." Harry then faced me. " Babe? Are you guys dating?"

I looked at Perrie and smiled. She did the same. But I turned back to face him." No," I say shaking my head. " It's just a thing we do." I laugh.

" Oh ok. Well," he sighed. " You good to go Perrie?"

" Yeah. Here goes."
