Jade
I felt my lips leave Harry's in an instant as the elderly woman's voice was heard from behind us.
My head turns to see my mother by the door with her phone in hand and a hand towel lying on her shoulder.
Her expression wasn't a very good welcome home greeting as my full body was facing her.
"Care to explain dear? I never knew you had a boyfriend?"
"I - No. He isn't my boyfriend." I stutter.
"Exactly my point Jade."
I look at her with confusion." What do you mean?"
"You don't think I know about your relationship with Perrie? You and Perrie are all I hear about from Caitlin."
"I can explain."
"I'm afraid it's to late Jade. In a span of 5 minutes I got over 4 missed calls and 5 long paragraphs from Luke earlier."
"How long was that?"
"Half an hour ago." she stated.
"What were they about?"
"You," she answered. " I don't remember raising a child like this. I raised your brother perfectly well," she spat. " Jade you were an angel. And you still are. But what's so bad about jokes huh? Were you planning on killing your girlfriend?"
" No. I'd never," I cry. " I love Perrie so so much. No one could ever replace her. She means the world to me and no boy would ever take that place from her. She's my entire life. Jerrie is real."
" Well," I hear someone laugh. "Seems like that spots been replaced. Don't you think Jade?"
I turn my gaze off my mother to see Perrie by the road with Luke's arm around her waist.
" Perrie.. "
" I mean the world to you?, she scoffed. "Yeah right I am." she shouted as she turned around to walk back to the unfamiliar car that was parked on the lawn.
"How long have you been here?" I cry.
"Long enough to see you enjoy that little smooch."
" I swear that didn't mean anything." I say as I run to her and wrap my arms around her neck.
"Ok. I see. You didn't mean it. I'm so stupid."
"So you forgive me?" I say as a smile forms my lips.
A laugh escapes her as my words spill.
" How ironic you are. You seemed to enjoy that kiss more than the time I dedicate to you. Don't you think Luke?"
My eyes leave Perrie to Luke who's blue eyes were filled with tears.
" I - yeah. I guess so," he answered as he looked at his watch. " Come on," he demanded. " Don't want to be late for your mams dinner."
I feel Perrie remove my arms off her and walked away without a single tear leaving her eyes.
"Bye Mrs Thirlwall," she smirked as she opened the car door. " Have a nice night."
The car engine raves on and Luke drives away without hesitation.
" Perrie!" I scream.
"Jade!," my mother shouted. " Leave her alone. Go inside!"
"But I need to -"
"No. Inside with your nephew. And Harry. Go home."
I walked slowly passed my mother and into the house.
" I don't want you leaving this house until you've fed Carl, washed the dishes, mopped the floor, clean your room and made Carl fall asleep."
" Then I can go to Perrie's?"
" Sorry but Luke insisted you stay from her until she feels better. Anywhere but Perrie."
