Perrie

Luke finally stops to a hault and places me on hard concrete ground.
I smile as I fix my shirt.

"Thank you." I say.

"No problem," he said as he returned a smile. "Are you ready to hop on?" he asked.

I gave him a tardy look of confusion. Did he want to carry me again?

"Your up for carrying me again?"

He chuckled and shook his head in response. " No not technically." he told me as he placed both his palms on my shoulders and turned me around.

"Again," he said. " Are you ready to hop on?"

My mouth fell wide open as I saw the giant ferris wheel in front of us.

"Oh," I say. " That's what you meant." I giggle."

"Yeah."

" For a very hard to please girl like myself," I say. " You did well." I answer as I took his hand and walked over to the ticket booth.

We approached the convivial ticket handler and asked for our tickets.

"Just two thanks." Luke smiled as he opened his wallet and took out $10.

"If you want I can pay you back later." I inform him as he handed the note to the lady.

"Pez, it's all good. No need. Now let's go?" he asked as he waved the tickets in front of me.

"Obviously."

He gave me a smile that I haven't seen on him for ages.It was great to know that I made someone happy with just a small thing. Unlike others.

His arm wrapped around my waist as he handed the operator our tickets and accompanied the both of us to our carriage.

"All settled in there?" he asked.

We both nodded as he secured the door and locked it up.

"Why are you sitting across from me?" Luke asked.

"Is there a problem?" I laugh.

"Yes. A very big one since you're that far away.

"Someone's got seperation issues." I chirp.

" Oh I'm a so deeply sorry." he joked.

I rolled my eyes and took a seat beside him. "There," I say. " Am I close enough?"

"Just how I needed it to be." he whispered, as he slowly brang his lips to mine.

I wasted no time on responding to his kiss as the operater started the first round.

As the carriage stops moving I tug on Luke's shirt tightly to avoid sliding off my seat.

My other hand rests against the cold barrier as I try to rest my heart rate.

"Are you ok?" he asks as I part my lips from his.

" Yeah I - I'm fine," I answer. " The carriage stopped suddenly so my heart rate just rose."

"I'm sorry," he mutters as he looks down at his feet and fiddles with his fingers. " That was wrong."

I take my hand and place it on his.
"Don't be."I say.

"How though?," he told me with tears dripping onto his black converse

" It was just a silly mistake yeah?"

"I know it was Pez. But you're not - you have a girlfriend. And besides. I should've known that Ferris Wheels was bad for you. You could've had a - a attack and -"

"Luke!," I shout. " Look at me."

His gaze changes from the ground to me. " I'm telling you now," I say. " It's ok. It was a stupid mistake that you hopefully won't do again. I just need you to tell me one thing."

"What?"

"Do you have feelings for me?"

He stays silent for a few moments before he nods. " Yeah I - I do. But it doesn't matter anyway."

"It does matter to me. You're my best friend."

"What about Jade?"

I feel my heart pound at the use of her name. "Stop worrying about Jade. Doesn't seem like she gives a shit about us anyway," I spat. " Now come here," I giggle as I wipe away my tears and widen my arms.

He scoots over and hugs me tight as the operater finally continues the lap.
"About time." Luke laughed.
