Perrie
I sit down beside Luke with my head facing the table. I eat my food in silence without bothering to talk to either them.
I couldn't handle the amount of stress I was getting from Jade. It was a joke. And she took it like it was so bad.
To be honest I couldn't be mad at her even if I tried. I never want to lose Jade.
But she'll lose me if she keeps acting this way. She should know that I can't tolerate stress.
If I do, it could lead to my death. And God knows she wouldn't want that. Neither would Luke and my family.
Sometimes Jade needs to calm down when it comes to jokes. She takes it too seriously.
As I chew slowly on my food, I felt a nudge from underneath the table.
My face turns to Luke and I look at him with an annoyed expression. "What?" I mouth him.
He raised his hand and pointed to Jade. She sat across from us with her hair covering the sides of her face.
A tear was trickling down her face as she played with her bowl noodles.
Constant drips of soup landed on her face yet she didn't bother.
"Jade," I chirp. "Wipe your face."
She looked at me for a few quick moments before she shook head and continued playing with her food.
"Don't fucking play with your food," I say as she continued acting like a child.
"Stop acting like a infant. You're 20 for crying out loud. If you keep acting like this every time Luke does some joke I swear you won't see me for a while." I smirk as I get up and storm out of the building, leaving the two of them in complete silence. As I was out in the open and away from Jade's stubborn behaviour I suddenly realised that I had no where to head off to.
I decided to walk around the block and pop into each of the stores to pass by time. Hopefully Jade will realise her mistake and make up for it.
First I stepped foot into a pet store. I roamed around for a few good minutes till I found some cute accessories for my dog Hatchi.
I grabbed the products that gave me the best delight and went up to the cashier to purchase them.
When I got out I kept walking. I spotted some stores that seemed to give me interest.
I swung the plastic lightly as I walked into a bookstore that had a sale currently running.
To be honest I really needed a new book to read.
As I skimmed through the romance section a particular book had caught my eye.
I bent down slowly to the last row to see a final copy of the book.
It was After by Anna Todd.
I remember the first time I read this. It was quite intense. Each and every page seemed to be filled with so much emotion and intensity that could make you sit in bed all day.
My hand dived for the book and dragged it out from the rack.
As I looked through it I made sure it had no scratches, folded pages or bends in the book.
Once I scanned through it, I walked back to the counter and purchased it for a good $20.
As I was happy with everything I bought I decided to give my shopping a rest.
I turned back to the carpark to find Jade's car gone. But before my heart rate could drop I spotted Luke by the restaraunt.
He was leaning against a brick wall with his arms crossed.
"Luke?" I call out.
The blonde boy turned to my direction and smiled at my presence.
"Good lord Perrie," he cooed as he ran to me and wrapped his arms tighly around me. "Where the hell have you been?"
"Nothing. I was just going around. What about you? Why are you not inside with Jade. And where's her car?"
"After you stormed out," he said. "She let out all her tears. I asked her to sit with me and talk. So we did for a good two minutes. When she realised that she did you wrong she couldn't help but compliment herself with profanities. She told me she would go and get you." he answered.
"And?"
"She came back in. She had makeup running down her cheeks and her shirt wet. I couldn't figure out what she was saying till she settled down and told me she couldn't find you."
"So she went to find me?"
"Yeah. She told me to stay here just in case."
"Where did she go first?" I ask.
"She told me she would go back to her place and she if you dropped by. She knows how much you and her mam are close."
"Can we go after her," I say. " I want to say sorry."
Luke nodded and took my hand. " This walk might be to much." he warned.
"Then let's hire a car." I pointed out.
Luke turned to the location I pointed to. It was a car hire." Like the eyes of an Eagle." he laughed.
