Perrie // 3 years later
As I pour pancake batter into the pan I watch my daughter stir the mixture by the bench.
My face shows a smile as I watch her sing along to Ariana Grande through my laptop.
"How ya doing bub?" I ask.
"Good," she cooed "Is this for mommy?" she asked.
I nodded and ran my fingers through her hair. "Yeah it's for mommy. Do you think she'll like it?" I laugh.
She clapped her hands and nodded. "Yeah!"
"Should we make her some Hot Chocolate?" I say as I took out a mug and poured hot water and powder and stirred it.
"Can I put Marshmallows?" she smiled.
"Of course you can,"I smile as I handed her the bag and set the drink in front of her "don't put to much ok?"
"Ok."
As there was no drop of batter left in the bowl I placed the pancakes on a plate and moved it to a tray beside the drink.
I held Lori's hand and helped her down from her stool and walked with her to my room.
"Can you open the door for me?"
Her small hands reached for the handle and turned it till the door widened and before us was my whole life. My beautiful Jade.
