Perrie
As the sun flickered through my window panes I slowly opened my eyes to see Jade beside me.
Her arms were wrapped around my waist and her head cooped beneath my chin.
She looked adorable and probably didn't even know it. Just like a Disney character. Her personality was just like one.
Once I sat up and figured the time I raised my arms to stretch after placing Jade's arms on my warm blanket.
Suddenly I felt very faint, with a shortness of breath, weakness, and chest pain.
I took my hand to my head as quickly as possible and rested the back of my head on my cold white wall.
Beside me moments later I felt Jade move and talk sleepishly. " Pez. Are you alright?"
" Yeah I'm fine. I just feel quite unwell."
After my words spat out she immedietly rose from her position and came to my aid.
" Are you sure," she asked me. " What are you feeling? Are you feeling faint? Hard to breathe?"
I giggle at her cuteness but I nod.
" Yeah but I'm sure it's not anything serious. Probably didn't eat enough at dinner."
" True but tell me Perrie. It's not back again is it?," she asked me concerned.
" I don't want to lose you. My best friend. My part time girlfriend slash MU."
" Jade. Please. Get ready for school. I'll be ok. I might call in late but I promise you I'll be there for Music. Wouldn't want to miss our favourite subject." I smile.
" She looked hesitant but nodded anyway. " Do I inform your mam?"
" Oh no no. She's at work by this time. Again it's not serious. I'll be up and at it for Music later."
She nodded once more. But it's like she wasn't persuaded by me. But I had to ride along with it.
" See you later?"
" Yeah," she smiled half heartedly as she took her skater dress from my closet. " Go and rest now. Love you."
I nod slightly. " Love you too babe. But hey take my music folder just in case I run a little late. You and Harry can run through it."
" Sure." she answered as she took the folder off my desk and neatly placed it into her brown leather bag.

Once I locked the front door, and Jade was on her way I rushed back to my room and sat on my bed.
I took deep breaths and tried to settle my heart rate as I looked underneath my bed. My arm reached down for what I was looking for. And thank the lord it was still there.
I then took my other arm and pulled it out. Once it was out in the open I gave the top of the box a little blow to remove the dust.
Then I removed the tank out and placed it on the floor beside my bed carefully. This cost too much to be broken. And I've barely used it since the last time.
The last time I had a Dilated Cardiomyopathy attack. Jade knows about this. My sickness since I was even born. And she was with me every step of the way. But today wasn't a day where she had to stay home because of this.
Jade deserves every single second of her education.
As I rolled the cord out of it's tied state I plugged it in and for the first time in ages it was functioning once more.
From the other end, I grabbed the breathing mask and placed it over my nose and mouth. I rested my head against my pillows and made my body lie flatly.
I breathed in and out as best as I could to ease the pain and during the process my door handle turned clockwise.
By the doorframe was my younger sister. Caitlin. She stood frozen and looked horrifed.
" Perrie?!,"she cooed. " Are you ok?"
I nodded. I couldn't talk. I just raised my hand and did a needle movement.
I needed my injections.
By the time I was done she had finally processed what I was doing.
" Ok. I'll be back." she told me as she ran to the bathroom outside and grabbed it.
Once she stepped foot inside again she immedietly turned the box upside down and removed the injection from its plastic.
" Fuck there's so many plastic." she huffed as she grabbed the liquid bottle.
" HMM!"
She looked at me and mouthed sorry at her choice of language at this time.
" Oh come out please." she cried as she tugged the plastic of the bottle.
Luckily it opened. She then decapitated the bottle and syringed the liquid into my injection.
" Ready?"
I extended my arm to her and nodded.
" Here goes." she breathed as she stuck the needle into the top of my hand just near the bone of my middle finger.
And finally I could breath.
I removed the mask off my face and smiled.
" Thanks bub," I say as I rub her back.
" You did me proud and you done it beautifully."
" All good Pez. I'll go make you some breakfast ok?"
" That'd be great." I smile as she walked out and closed the door behind her.
Ugh what an eventful morning.
