Preparing to leave

"It has been two days.  Are we prepared to leave in the morning?" I asked happily.

"Yes I think so and Evander has been itching to get moving.  He is not a happy person when he is around lots of other people constantly," Arya whispered happily.

"Then we should not make him wait any longer.  We leave tomorrow," I whispered back.

We were laying on the bed in her room, her head on my chest.  We were going to sleep soon and were just talking to pass some time so we wouldn't wake too early. The walls were solid wood because this room is made into the hall where her throne is. They were a different color.... it was like a shade of red and the floor and sealing are the same. A flameless lantern hung from a wooden branch.  It now had a piece of fabric over it so the room would be dark. She was asleep now and quiet where she lay.  When I finally noticed I decided that it would be best if I go to sleep too.       I woke early the next morning so I stayed and lay there.  While I laid there I started thinking about how I was going to train the riders.  I thought I would train them in the art of the sword, then archery,  then to combat in flight,  and last wait for them to discover magic themselves.  But before I could finish that thought Arya woke and began to stir.

"How long have you been awake?" she asked groggily.

"Not long,  but we really should be getting ready soon.  Ok?" I chirped happily.

"Ya, I agree.  We should get dressed and call our dragons.  They are probably out sleeping," she said, her voice starting to sound normal again. With that Arya sat up and slowly but gracefully started to stand and walk to her closet to find clothes to change into.  I pulled clothes from my bag. Twenty minutes later we finished eating. We had all the stoneworkers come assemble in front of the hall. Evander accompanied them. After we double checked that we had all of the supplies we would need Arya called Firnen. It was my job to call Saphira.

I said "Hey how was your time with your dragon friend."

"I did miss him before and now that we are together again I don't think that I can leave like that again," She said glumly.

"Well you may not have to  I am coming up with a plan that will allow Arya and I  to meet very often and you.  Firnen will also be able to meet and not have to fly the distance to get here," I said excitedly.

"Just make sure that you tell me first," She said slightly happier.

"We are leaving today.  Meet us in front of the hall and come soon.  Firnen will also leave to meet us here," I said nicely.

"Be there in a few minutes.... and Firnen already left," Saphira said happily.

I waited for about 5 minutes until she landed in front of me.  We spoke no more until I fitted the saddle and supplies to her back

"You have grown so much since that saddle was given to us.  We really should get it refit or have a new one made for us,"  I chirped happily.

"I agree.  It doesn't fit properly.  It's not nice to wear anymore," she said, slightly annoyed by the saddle.

"I will get the dwarves to help us after."

That was the end of our conversation.  I walked over to Arya and asked,  "Is this all of the workers you gathered. "

"Yes.  Will they be enough? "Arya asked, clearly worried.

"There's about twenty elves there.  The only challenge will be getting them there and back without anybody seeing us and finding out that Saphira and I returned.  Neither Oric nor the Queen will be happy about us returning and not coming to visit them.
