Only Now Exists (One Direction Fanfiction)

Chapter 1

Stephanie's P.O.V

"This is it, we're here!!! Wake Up Kate!" I say. Hi, my name is Stephanie, I'm 18, and I'm full of hope. My nest friend, yes with a "n", Kate and I are here in Chicago, the garden state. We've been nest friends for as long as I can remember, we just finished high school and decided to take a gap year before we both start collage.

I turn over to still see the dozed off face of Kate I saw when we left Houston. I've been driving all night, but I didn't mind, I had my second best friend with me, coffee. "KATE!!! Wake up! We're here! I'll go get the keys to the apartment and you go get this truck to the parking garage!' I say in a harsh but friendly tone.

I get out and soon enough, I see the truck moving in the other direction.

As I walk to the beautiful marble desk, I see a crisp 20 dollar bill, right there all alone." This will get us an amazing Taco Bell later." I say to myself, letting out a small giggle.

" Hi, can I help you?' a friendly voice said to me.

"Hi, my name is Stephanie. My friend Kate and I are renting an apartment here." I say. Just as the last word dropped out of my mouth, I see the woman handing me an enormous stack of financial papers and two gold cards." Wow, That was fast! Thank you and have a nice day!" I say, leaving the desk.

"Thank you." I hear," My name is Perrie if you need anything! Enjoy your stay!" the desk attendant said. I wave goodbye and head out to the parking garage, to see Kate, on her phone, in the truck. I bet she was on tumblr.

"Hey, I got the stuff!' I say, trying to be the gangster I've always tried to be." Stephanie, you will not believe what I fond out on tumblr!" Kate said, trying not to scream internally.

" ha, I knew she was on tumblr." I thought to myself. "What!?" I say, anxiously. " Guess who happens to be in the city as us?" she said. " Who? Oprah?" I said all excitedly." No, someone else!" She said, ready to scream." Oh... my.. god.. IS IT ONE DIRECTION?!" I scream at the top of my lungs.

"Yes!!!" She screamed. We both hugged and started unloading the truck, with the amazing news of one direction being in the same city as us.

"Isn't that a good taco?" I hear Kate say sarcastically.

" Ha, Ha ,Ha ha. Very funny." I say devouring my taco. I hope that answered her question. She laughs and continues to slurp on her mountain dew chiller." well I'm going to bed, all that driving has made me all loopy in the head." I say laughing to Kate." Goodnight. Even when it's like 2 in the afternoon!" she said smiling.

I walk over to the bare room, with boxes every were, I call my parents to say I love them, and that we have arrived in Chicago, alive. About 15 minutes later I was out like a light.
