Chapter 14

Kate's P.O.V.

Louis and I were sitting out on my balcony staring out into the city before us. I sigh in content as realization hit me. This has got to be one of the only times Louis and I have spent together without arguing. I chuckle at the thought.

His hand rubs my back soothingly as he chuckles too. "What are you thinking?" he asks me. I smile and lean up to look at his face. "You know," I begin," this is the only time we're not arguing." He smiles, "It is, isn't it? It's nice not having to argue with you." he says taking my hands into his. I look down at how they intertwine perfectly.

"You know, we've only known each other for a couple days. I would like to know more about you." I smile at him and he grins half heartily. "You already know about me. What else is there?" he asks. "Well, I would like to know more than just the simple stuff." I smile at him. "Me too, but for now let's just enjoy each others company." he says to me. I can't help but feel like he's stalling. What doesn't he want me to know? I push the thought away and lean in to kiss him on the cheek.

Right when I'm about to make contact with his skin, he turns at the last second, connecting my lips with his. My eyes widen in shock and I try to pull away but his grip on me was firm. Soon I relax and begin to kiss back and my eyes close. I focus on how his lips feel against mine and how his masculine scent over powers my senses. He glides his tongue across my lower lip asking for entrance. I reject and keep my mouth closed, teasing him. 

He groans at my act of defiance and slips his hands under my shirt. I gasp and he takes the opportunity slipping his tongue inside my mouth. His hands keep gliding across my skin giving me goosebumps. I moan at the feel of his hands roaming about my body. As our tongues continue to battle for dominance I reach up and run my fingers through his hair. He moans at the contact. Louis won our little tongue battle and I bite his lip making him gasp and me chuckle.

I hear a noise in the apartment but don't think much of it. I keep my lips attached to his savoring the taste. The balcony door slides open but I keep my attention to the sex god before me." Kate, I need to-"  Stephanie starts and  Harry dramatically gasps. My eyes widen.

"Kate!" she sasses," I came to say something that could potentially fix our problem." she continues. " Yes?" I say planting one last peck on his lips. " Louis, Harry, can you give us a minute?"I advised. They walk out and Louis send me a wink before exiting out of my view.

"Kate, I'm sorry. I completely drew a blank when Harry took me out of the apartment." she begins. " Him and I were talking, and looking at the  city lights. Kate, it was just wow. I'm so sorry it stressed you out."  she says. " Stephanie, don't apologize. I was so scared, I blew up on you. I'm so happy you're safe. I'm sorry. Besides, this is the first time you've done something bad." I chuckled. She gives me a hug. 

" Let's go and get the boys huh? I sure hope Louis can contain himself seeing you again. "  she smirks. " Please, Who could contain to see me?" I smirk back.

We were at breakfast with four of the boys. Liam is passed out in the apartment. The whole situation was surreal! One minute I'm in the kitchen talking and the next Harry was on top of Liam delivering blows to his face! Apparently Liam was using Stephanie or some shit so Harry couldn't have her. Since it was already morning we decided to head out and get some pancakes.

"Wow this is amazing!" I exclaim taking another bite out of my pancakes. I receive dirty looks from the other customers. Surprisingly no one noticed the boys. Maybe it was because it was six in the morning and the diner was full of middle aged people. Stephanie nudges me and mouths "Behave" and I roll my eyes. I see Louis looking at me and look up smiling at him. He looks down at his food blushing. Aw he was so cute when embarrassed.
