Chapter 22

Kate's P.O.V.

From: Unknown

Meet me on the roof in three hours, or else. Xx.

I look at the text in confusion. Who the hell would send me this? I look at the clock and see that it's nine in the evening, that means that at 12 I have to meet this unknown being. But who would want to meet me? What if it's a murderer?

I begin to freak out. I mean they did write " Or else.". I debate on whether to tell Louis or not. What would he do? He'd probably come with and things would get worse. I decide to leave him out of this.

Because I'm falling for him.

I look at the clock, 11:55, I grab my phone just in case and start going to the roof. Once I arrive it was only 11:58 and I sit on the bed that was left up here from Harry and Stephanie 's rendezvous.  I wait nervously not expecting the best to occur. I hear noises from the stairs leading up to here and tense up.

I stare ahead trying to calm my nerves and take deep breaths. The door flys open. I don't turn to face the person.

"You showed up. I'm surprised." said a familiar voice. I slowly turn around with wide eyes.

" Uh yes I did. You did kind of threaten me so..." I say looking at him, frowning.

He smirks and looks out into the city, even though it's a Tuesday and it's the middle of the night the city was still alive.

" Why do you want me here, Joey?"  I question him. He chuckles and sits down next to me. I scoot away a bit since he was a little too close for my liking.

"I need your help. It's Stephanie.  I think I'm still in love with her and-"

"I'm going to stop you right there." I say putting my hand up. " You do know that she is dating Harry right?"

I watch him as his eyes widen and he shakes his head slowly. My face softens and I begin to feel bad. Not only because I dropped a huge bomb on him but because I told him Stephanie 's secret that she probably didn't want anybody to know...yet.

" Well they're together and she loves him and he loves her so you can just stop." I say getting up and walking towards the door.

" You know they might not last. It would be a shame if something happens to break them up." he states and I can literally here him smirk. I turn on my heel and glare at him.

" You wouldn't." I say, " You wouldn't hurt Stephanie like that if you loved her."  I say walking his way.

" I would if it means that she'll be mine." he says with a smirk and I immediately feel my blood boil.

" Stop." I say.

" I can just see her crying on my shoulder all vulnerable and needy." he says smirking and walking slowly to me.

" Shut up." I yell at him. I clench my fists in anger. I want to walk away and leave him here but my feet wouldn't move.

" Just imagine," he began, closing the distance between us and leaning to my ear," what would happen when her self esteem is that low. The things she would let me do." he whispers in my ear.

My eyes widened and I gasped. He leaned away and had the stupid smirk etched in his face. I raise my hand and before it could make contact with his skin, he grabs my wrist and backs me up against the wall, pressing me against it with such force I gasped in pain.

" Want to try that again?" he asks. I struggle to get out of his grip but it only made the pain worse. His lower half was pressed up against me keeping me in place.
