Chapter 9

Stephanie's P.O.V

~8:00am~

Wow, this taxi is really tiny, especially with Liam right next to me. I still can't get Harry out of my head, god what did he mean to say about Liam? " So, are you excited to have breakfast? I know I am!" Liam said with a small giggle. " Yeah, I'm starving." I say, rubbing my hollow stomach. " You look really pretty, I mean all your doing s eating breakfast with me." Liam said. " Well thanks. I do have this thing called a  social life  you know." I say with one eyebrow raised. Finally we arrive at this small diner. I rush out of the taxi, and wait for Liam at the front door. I felt like a kid in a candy store. "Come on Liam, I'm going to die!" I yell with a smile. Liam runs over and opens the door for me, how sweet. " Table for 2 please." Liam said to the lady. " OH my god, you're Liam Payne! I love you!" A teenager said, she worked here, so I figured she'd jump over hurdles just to take our orders.

"What can I get you?" the girl said, her name was Ashlee,  her one direction sticker filled name tag, gave me the idea she liked them. " Can I get the chocolate chip pancakes please?" I say, she gives me a dirty look and writes down my order. The look on her face looking at Liam was priceless. She ended up giving him his food for free , taking pictures with him, and I eating my chocolate pancakes by myself, all quiet and ignored.

" That'll be 6.50." Ashlee said, gosh I just wanted to leave, he didn't even look at me while we ate. I was expecting so much more from this "sweet heart", Now I finally get to go shopping with Kate. The only thing that is on my mind now,is going to shop. " So, did you like your breakfast?" Liam said. " Yeah, my pancakes were great. Did you enjoy having a date with the waitress?" I bark. "What do you mean?" he said shocked. "Don't play dumb with me. This was really great, but I really want to go home. I have things to do. " I say. The taxi drove up and I went directly into it. Liam gets in, and puts his arm around me. Really, you're going to play this card? "I'm sorry, I really didn't know... How about you and I go out again?" he whispered. " Nope, I don't really want to eat quietly again. I thought this would be something really adorable, but I was wrong." I say. Harry was right, this guy ended up being an ass.

 "I like you liam, but I don't really want to. "I say with a small stutter. Liam looks at me with disappointment, and kisses me on the cheek ."I just wanted to get to know you more, not make you feel like shit." he said. " well, if you really  want to know me, you and I can hang out in your apartment one day." I say, I can't say no to him. Gosh, one minute I hate his guts, then the next I'm drooling over him.

We arrive at the complex, and head up to our rooms. " I really like that idea of you and I hanging out Stephanie." Liam says, leaning on the handle in he elevator. " Great, you can just text me when you want to. " I say. The elevator door opens and he walks me to the apartment.

"Thanks again Liam."  I whisper. Kate must be expecting me, crap. I'm 20 minutes late. Liam just looks at me, and leans in to me. Oh m god, this boy wants to get this. I cant help but lean in. It was a terrible experience, to see him talking to that other girl but hey, I got pancakes. Now that I think of it, he was sort of a gentleman, he did everything I asked him to. Gosh, now I feel like crap. I do that sometimes and it's terrible. If there's one bad event, I don't forget about it and I make the entire time terrible.

With his warms lips pressed onto mine, I check my watch. HOLY CRAP. I get out of the lip lock and hug him. " Liam I'm so sorry, I was the one acting like an ass." I say sensually.  " It's fine, but next time we'll just go a place were it's just us. So you can have my undivided attention." Liam said. Aw, there go my knees.

~4:00 pm~

"Oh my god Stephanie, can you carry your OWN bags?" Kate said, ready to slap me. We went to every single store, and we both now have a total of 28 bags. I was fixing my blazer, the cuff was crooked, there popped my O.C.D. " Hold on! God, they're just shopping bags! Besides, you should be nice to me, I'm inviting you to dinner. " I say all snotty like. I run up to Kate and get my bags and head out the doors.
