Chapter 17

Stephanie's P.O.V

Why is Kate jumping? "What is going on?" I ask. I look in kitchen. Oh god, she found them, my energy drinks.

"Where's the pizza?" She yelled.  This girls flying all over the place! Harry and Louis are standing right by here. I wait a while. No actual answer, just Kate yelling crazy shit. "I'm going to my room, no disruptions please." I say. I don't have time for this.

There, I'm done!! I haven't told Kate this, but I'm feeling home sick. I'm the girl who can't be away from her parents to long. As I'm grabbing my tickets, I see my diary on the other end of my desk. I laugh and put it in my backpack.

Wait.

My diary is usually under my vanity.

I stomp out of my room to see Kate downing on pizza with the boys. I missed pizza too? "Oh girl, why the stomping?" Niall laughed. "Who read my diary?" I say tapping my foot. I see 2 out of 4 guys shake their heads. Liam's not here, shocker. 

I think I've been sort of a jerk to him. What he wrote to me was really sweet. It is making me consider being friends with him. I just really want to know Harry and Liam's background story! Why they hate eachother so much?

"Harry did it." Kate said pointing. Oh good, she's back to normal. " What? Harry! Why?"  I scream. He stands up slowly, looks me in the eys, and begins. "Well, I saw a corner of it sticking out and grabbed it. After you were asleep last night, I read one of your old ones. Stephanie, How could you have been so unhappy?" He admitted.

"Why were you going through my stuff? I was unhappy, because I was trying to be two different people. They were-" I stop.

All the memories come back.  Young Joey, the rude comments, my friends. Everything. Tears start to fill my eyes.

"Don't talk to me." I whimper to Harry. I run and slam my door shut.

Harry's P.O.V

"Way to go, idiot." Kate growled. She gets up and walks over to Stephanie's room. I sit back down and rub my hand over my face. I'm so angry, I made Stephanie cry.  Out of all people, Stephanie is the one person who shouldn't cry anymore.

I feel a hand on my shoulder. "Mate, Why did you?" Zayn asked. I look at him, "I..I don't know." I confessed.

"Liam wrote her a letter." I growled. The boys look at eachother. "She saved it in her diary." I add.

"Well what did it say?" Niall said. "He wants to be friends with her." I huffed, rolling my eyes. "Look, He JUST wants to be friends with her, you can't.. isolate her from Liam." Louis stated. " Watch me. I don't want her near him." I snap, taking a slice of pizza.

Stephanie's P.O.V

I hear a knock on the door, and rub my eyes. "Not know, please." I stutter. "It's Kate."  I hear, I get out of my covers and open the door. "Steph, stop crying." She says. I hug her and begin to sob on her shoulder. I look over to see the boys still here. Oh, awkward.

"I can't stop. All the memories flushed back. I know I look different, but that crying 14 year old is still here." I stutter.

Kate looks at me, "You need to stop, forget about her. She's gone. You are a much better, stronger, and more confident you now." Kate gasped. I give her a smile.

She really is my best friend, she knows every little thing to say to make me feel better. "I'm going to get some sleep, don't keep the guys over to long." I yawn. She nods and I close my door.
