Chapter 6

"Alice are you ready?" Simon asked.

"Yeah I guess. Listen I'm sorry for not being more careful." I said looking down at the big cast on my arm that would be there for a month.

"Don't worry we can work around all of that." Simon said.

"Ok" I said looking down at the dress my mom had bought me.

"Alright lets get started." Simon said opening the door for me. When I stepped out I heard a few people clapping. When I looked up I saw the guys standing in the front row. I gave a small wave with my good hand and walked to the seat on the stage.

"Welcome everyone. The reason I have called you all here today is to announce the opening act for One Direction. Her name is Alice Doran. I discovered her on this season of the X-Factor. She was sadly sent home early because she couldn't dance. Now I hated to see this much talent go to waist to I signed her to my record label. Who would like to start is off with the first question?." Simon said he pointed to someone.

"How old are you?" They asked.

"I'm 15 but I'll be turning 16 in late October." I said. The questions started to flood in.

"Simon why is someone so young touring the world?"

"She has such great talent for her age that I hated to see it be waisted." He said.

"Alice why is your arm in a cast?"

"Oh when I emptied my locker today I accidentally shut it on my hand."

"Alice what where you doing when you found out about the offer?"

"I was doing math homework when Simon came to my house. I got so excited that I accidentally threw my text book into the wall and it left a hole." I said laughing at the small hole that was now in my wall. I heard Niall start to hysterically laugh.

"Alice are you a fan of One Direction?" Someone else yelled out.

"Yeah I'm actually a really big fan of them. I've been following them for 2 years now and it's just really cool to see how far they have come. I think it's an honor to be opening for them." I said looking at the boys. Even though they had insulted me they were still my favorite band. I saw that they all looked ashamed. Soon more questions were being thrown at me and I didn't know what to think.

Louis's P.O.V

Wow she really thought that about us? After everything we said about her she was still a fan. Once the press conference ended the boys and I headed back to the hotel.

"Why does she still like us? We were complete assholes to her." Niall said. I could tell that he was still really upset about it.

"I don't know." Liam mumbled.

"She seems like such a cool girl. Maybe we should give her a chance. I mean yeah she's 15 but she doesn't act like it." Zayn said. We all nodded our heads in agreement. She really didn't act like most fans she was calm about everything and didn't scream in our faces maybe we really did need to give her a chance.

Alice's P.O.V

When I got home that night I had 20 missed calls from Sam. I pulled out my phone and called her back.

"OH MY FUCKING GOD!! You are going on tour for 7 months?!?" She yelled into the phone.

"Yeah it all happened yesterday. I even met the boys yesterday." I said.

"Oh my god how did that go?" She asked.

"Not so good they don't want me on tour with them." I said remembering what I heard outside the door.

"They said that to your face?!" She asked I oils tell she was mad.

"No I heard it through the door. I mean I guess I had to expect that I mean I'm 15, a girl, and I'm new. I wasn't expecting them to pull me in for a group hug right away but that's just how it happens." I said.

"I hate to do this but I have to go. I have like a billion pounds of homework god you are lucky you have none." She said before hanging up. I changed out of my dress and put on sweat pants and a t shirt. Simon had told me to come up with 6 songs for the tour and we would go over them tomorrow at the rehearsal. I pulled out my iPod and started to scroll through it.

After I finished coming up with my set list I decided to go to bed early. My mom had to drop me off at the auditorium of my school tomorrow. That's what sucked about living in a small town the only big auditorium we could use was at my school. It had been a donation from some old student and they built it a little bit off campus. Simon had booked it for the next few days but no one was told what for. I hopped tomorrow would be better.
