I'm back in California now and I have to say I missed it. After I spent Christmas morning with my mom they put me on a plane that night to fly back. I hadn't talked to my mom about the Matt incident. I guess she understood that I didn't want to talk about it.

"How you feeling today sweetie?" Brenda asked as we drove back to my dad's place.

"I'm feeling a little bit better. My legs hurt less which I'm thankful for. The doctor in New Jersey said I could stop taking the pain killers soon so that's a plus." I said looking out the window. I was going to spend the afternoon with my dad and his family since it was my last full day in California. The boys were upset that they didn't get to see me until late tonight but they understood I wanted to be with family. Brenda picked me up from the airport since my dad got stuck at work for an extra hour.

"So what did you get for Christmas?" She asked trying to keep a conversation going. I like Brenda but it was kinda awkward knowing she was the 'other women'.

"Oh my mom got me this locket, some shirts, and a new pair of toms since my old ones were falling apart." I said playing with the new silver locket that hung around my neck. Inside was a picture of my mom and I from when I was a baby.

"Oh that's lovely." Brenda said as we turned on to her street. I could already see their big house in the distance. When we pulled up I grabbed my small duffle bag from the back seat. I played with the address tag that had Liam's information on it. I guess they didn't know where I put all my bags. I walked up the big marble steps and waited for Brenda to join me at the large double doors. She opened the door for me and I stepped in feeling the cold air hit my cheeks. I was still in a long sleeved shirt and jeans from New Jersey.

"We're home!" She yelled into the house. I soon heard footsteps getting closer to us.

"ALICE!" I heard Savanna's familiar voice yell as she came into view.

"SAVANNA!" I yelled back giving her a hug.

"Missed you." She said hugging me back.

"Would you mind if I get changed really quick?" I asked.

"Oh yeah of course follow me!" Se said leading me up the steps. The spiral staircase was amazing. The steps were hardwood, and the rail looked like gold. Savanna walked me down a long hallway filled with rooms.

"Here's my room!" She said opening a door and revealing a room that was almost twice the size of my room at home. There was a queen sized bed next to a window seat. There was a desk closest to the door, and across from that was what looked like a walk in closet. All around the room were posters of the boys, tennis stars, other bands, and pictures of people who I guess who were her friends. I looked at the shelves filled with trophies.

"Wow." I said walking over to the window seat. When I looked out the large window I could see a full sized pool in the back next to a garden.

"Yeah it's way to over done." Savanna said sitting on her bed.

"It's beautiful." I said looking at the garden that was filled with flowers.

"It's too over the top for me. I like simple things." She said.

"I love this place." I said putting my bag down.

"Yeah so does dad." She said. When I turned to look at Savanna I finally realized she wasn't in her normal tennis skirt and polo. She was wearing a pair of old work out shorts, and a normal tank top. Her brown hair was in two broads resting down by her waist.

"Alright I'll let you get changed and go tell Bo you're here!" She said getting up as walking out of the room closing the door behind herself. I started to remove my shirt as best as I could with only one hand. I hated being in casts they were so heavy, and it just made everything difficult to do. The doctors said I had about 2 months in this one. So I was spending half of the rest of tour in a cast. Great.

Once I was finally changed into a pair of jean shorts, and a tank top I took my hair out of its pony tale and let it fall down. My hair fell a little bit above my belly button and I loved it. Lou had called me once my new phone was working to tell me that tomorrow she was going to redye the back of my head. As I made my way out of Savanna's room I heard Bo laughing a few doors down. I followed the sound and found his room. It was the same as Savanna's except the boy version, and a lot messier.

"Alice." Bo said once he saw me. I looked at the boy who was sitting on the floor leaning against the bed. He had black hair that fell over his forehead. His dark green eyes shown in the afternoon sun coming through the window. My eyes fell to the piercing on his lip. He was dressed head to toe in almost all black. When I looked at Bo I saw he was wearing a pair of grey basketball shorts, a black t shirt and beanie.

"Hey Bo. Who's this?" I asked nodding to the mysterious boy.

"Oh this is my friend Zach. Zach this is my other sister Alice." Bo said introducing us. Zach stood up and walked over to me.

"Nice to meet you." He said offering his hand I shook it with my good hand and couldn't stop looking at his lip ring.

"Did that hurt?" I asked.

"Yeah what about that?" He asked poking my nose.

"Yeah a little." I said shrugging.

"Bo hasn't stopped taking about you since I showed up. Now I understand why." Zach said winking at me. I felt a blush creep up in my cheeks and had to remind myself I had a boyfriend waiting for me back at the hotel.

"Zach watch it she's still my sister." Bo said giving Zach a look.

"Um where's Savanna?" I asked.

"In the living room. Here I'll show you." Bo said leading the way. Zach didn't follow us though. There was something strange about him that was almost haunting.

Savanna and I were laying on her bedroom floor looking at the ceiling after dinner talking. Dad was going to drive me to the hotel in an hour or so.

"So what's up with Bo's friend Zach?" I asked playing with a strand of my hair.

"Oh you mean king of the pot heads. They've known each other since kindergarten. They are two completely different people though." Savanna said redoing one of her braids.

"Oh so he does drugs?" I said.

"Yeah. He tried to get Bo into it but Bo knows better than to do that. Especially if he wants to get a baseball scholarship. I would stay away from him Alice. He's nothing but trouble." Savanna said. We sat there in silence for a little bit. I guess there was no point in me really getting to know Zach. I was avoiding bad boys. Besides I was head over heels for Niall. I couldn't wait to see Niall again. I hadn't gotten to see him since he said goodbye to me at the airport. He hadn't been able to kiss me either since my mom and dad were both right there and we didn't want them to know. I got lost in my thoughts as Savanna started to babble on about some tennis match she had in a few days. I couldn't get Zach and Niall out of my thoughts.
