Chapter 27

Once I said goodbye to everyone we agreed that we would all go out to dinner before I left town. I had called my driver Patrick to come pick me up. Savanna and Bo had both already gotten their license so they were just going to drive to the hotel later so we could go bowling. It was already 5:30 so we would be doing late night bowling. As we headed back to the hotel I got to experience L.A traffic and it was terrible cars were everywhere. I looked out the window taking in everything. I kept thinking about my dad. I was gonna miss him more now that I actually know who he is. I knew I was defiantly going to miss Savanna and Bo. We had all become so close in the last few hours that it was like we had known about each other our whole lives. I was brought out of my thoughts by the squealing sound of tires. When I looked up I saw a black car speeding towards us driving out of control. Before I could say anything I felt my body and the car being flung into the air. I saw my life flash before my eyes before everything went black.

Louis's P.O.V

The lads and I were hanging out at the pool again just relaxing.

"Do any of you know where Alice is?" Harry asked swimming to the side of the pool.

"She's at her dad's house for the day. She should be home soon." Liam said.

"Yeah she texted me telling me her and her siblings were gonna go bowling, and then have a sleepover at her place." Niall said.

"Aw look he already knows her plans!" I said laughing. We had been teasing Niall all day about Alice. It was so adorable how much they liked each other. It made me sick sometimes though. I really hope El and I aren't like that. I know Zayn, and Perrie can be sometimes, and so can Liam and Sophia but I guess it's just young love. We heard a loud bang and looked over at the roof top door and saw Paul with a concerned look on his face.

"Paul what's wrong?" Liam asked getting out of the pool.

"Alice." Was all he said before Niall jumped out of the pool and was an inch away from Paul's face.

"What about Alice?!" Niall asked.

"She was in a car accident. They just took her to the hospital. It's not good guys. Her face is full of glass, she could possibly have a broken arm, and leg. Would you like I go to the hospital and wait?" Paul asked.

"OF COURSE WE WANT TO GO!" Niall yelled taking off down the stairs. We all followed him and got dressed. Niall wouldn't stop pacing as we waited for everyone to he dressed. This can't be happening Alice's life had just started to work out for her. What if she didn't make it? I can't think like that I had to stay positive for her, and the rest of the boys.

When we got to the hospital they wouldn't tell us anything since we weren't family.

"Do any of you know her moms phone number? What about her dad I know she met him today?" Paul asked pacing the waiting room. None of us knew any of her information. She kept all of it on her phone. They said they couldn't find her phone in the wreckage. It must be somewhere on the high way.

"Someone call Simon I know he has it.'" Liam said trying to get Niall to at least say something. Niall had been sitting in a plastic hospital chair looking at the floor. Zayn couldn't stop pacing, and I kept trying to think of what I needed to do to help. So I pulled out my phone and called Simon.

"Hello Louis. What do you need?" Simon said.

"I need Alice's mom's number. Alice was in a car accident and she's in the hospital. Simon we need to get her mom out to California now." I said trying not to cry. My best friend had just been in a car accident and could die.

"Oh my gosh of course Louis." Simon said as he started to five me her phone number. This was going to be the hardest call to make.

Harry P.O.V

I woke up to the bright fluorescent lights of the hospital's waiting room. I sat up and saw the lads all asleep in the chairs. None of us had been told anything about Alice, and we hadn't seen her. Louis had spent most of the night trying to calm down a hysterical mother, and we had finally gotten ahold of Savanna and Bo who had showed up to Alice's hotel knowing nothing. They had gone home to get some sleep and talk to their dad. I looked down at my phone and saw in an hour one of us had to go pick up Alice's mom from the airport. I decided to let the other boys sleep as woke up Paul so we could go.

"Paul we need to go pick up Alice's mom." I said once his eyes opened.

"Ok." He said standing up. I stepped over Niall's feet as we made our way out. I had barley slept last night. I couldn't stop thinking about Alice. What was going on with her? Was she ok? How had any of this happened? Was she going to be ok? I couldn't get any of those questions out of my head. She had to be ok. She just has to be ok.

When we returned to the hospital with a hysterical mother I saw a man and a women were sitting with the boys along with Savanna, and Bo. Both Savanna, and Bo had blood shot eyes and tear stained faces.

"Michael!" I heard Theresa yell from besides me. I guess he was Alice's dad. Michael stood up and walked towards Theresa and hugged her.

"I'm so sorry Theresa." Michael said as he hug a now sobbing Theresa. I walked over to the boys and sat with them.

"I feel like shit." Niall said kicking the ground. We all just nodded in agreement.

"Did they tell you anything yet?" I asked.

"Nope. When Michael and them showed up they wouldn't even tell them anything." Liam said. Why the hell where they leaving us in the dark. This was serious we needed to see Alice now. A female doctor in a long white coat came walking into the waiting room. He blonde hair was tied back in a bun and she made a bee line for our group.

"Friends and family of Alice Doran?" She asked. We all nodded our heads and Michael and Theresa stepped forward.

"Wow there are a lot of you. Please follow me." She said as she led us down the hall way to a big conference room.

"Hello, I am Dr.Park. I've been assigned to Alice. Now the reason we haven't been able to tell you anything is because we were trying our best to extract all of the glass from her. When the car hit it made her car roll about three times. Alice was sitting on the side of the car where it was hit the most. Her seatbelt broke causing her to go through one of the widows. She was out for all of this. We did an MRI and saw that she has a broken her whole left arm up to about the shoulder. Her legs are heavily bruised, we had to put stitches in her forehead where we removed a big piece of glass. Now most of her body is bandaged from where the rest of the glass was removed. We put her on some sleeping pills to help her sleep. She should be ok soon though." Dr.Park said. We all let out a loud sigh realizing none of us had been breathing as she talked. I looked at Alice's parents and saw that they were a little more relaxed. I looked at Niall who was now smiling lightly. Savanna and Bo smiled too. The rest of the boys were relaxing into their chairs. I relaxed now knowing that she was going to be ok.
