Excuse mistakes!

Victoria

Another day in court. I don't understand why Savannah and Andrew came back anyways. She might have gave birth to Hannah, but she's my daughter. I love her like she's mines and I've grown so close to her.

After hours of waiting the jury finally came up with a decision. Hopefully, Hannah stays.

"We've decided that the child will go back to her biological parents."

I sighed and sat down. After all this, they just give her back to them? After two years? I don't even know how I will even explain this to Hannah.

Once the judge dismissed everybody, I grabbed my stuff and walked out the room. I tried my best to get out of there, pushing through the crowded halls.

"Victoria." Odell called out to me but I kept walking.

I got outside and began walking to the car. He grabbed my arm and stopped me. I sniffed and tried to prevent myself from crying. He looked me in my eyes and I looked into his. I could tell he was hurt too.

A few teats fell from my eyes and I wiped them. He pulled me into a hug and rubbed my back.

"I thought everything would be okay. But it's not. We lost her Jr."

"I know." He said.

I pulled back and looked at Savannah and Andrew who were coming out of the courthouse. I shook my head.

"I'm sorry Victoria." She hard the nerve to say.

"Don't say anything to me." I said.

"I know how much you love Hannah but she deserves to be with her mother. So I'll be there to pick her up at 4 tomorrow."

"Oh so now she deserves to be with you? You have some nerve coming here after two years! Two years after you left her high and dry! And you the audacity to say your her mother?" I said.

Andrew stepped up."Listen I think it's best for you-(gco)"

"And I think it's best that you back up off my wife." Odell said as he pushed me behind him.

"Don't worry about it. Let's just go home." I grabbed his arm and pulled him back. I walked over to the driver's side. I got in and started the car. Odell got in and I drove towards the house.

Once we got in I walked straight up the stairs and into my room. I sat my purse down and took off my jewelry and clothes then changed clothes. Hannah ran in and hugged me.

"Hey mommy! I missed you."

"Hey baby. I missed you too." I hugged her and kissed her cheek.

"I wanna show you something."

She grabbed my hand and I followed her to her room where Megan was cleaning up.

"Hey Megan."

"Hey Ms.Victoria" she said.

"Look." She handed me a picture.

It was a picture of me, Odell, Hannah, and the baby. I smiled.

"This is beautiful."

"It's for you and daddy."

"Aww. Thanks baby. How about we hang it on your wall?"

I took a tack and placed it upon the wall with many of her other drawings she drew. I paid Megan and she left. Hannah and I went downstairs and to the kitchen.

"What do you wanna eat babygirl? I asked.

"Spaghetti!" She grabbed it out of the pantry.

"Spaghetti it is."

I grabbed a pot and filled it water and Hannah grabbed her chair and stood on it and watched me. She also helped me get the rest of the stuff and cook them as well.

After we all ate dinner I put Hannah to sleep and walked to my room. I grabbed my clothes and went to take my shower. After I took my actual shower I spent a while in there, thinking about how I was gonna explain this to my baby. It was hurting me on the inside to know that they would be taking her away from me.

I stopped the shower and stepped out. I'm dreading tomorrow.

-The Next Day-

Odell

Victoria, Hannah, and I have been spending our whole day together. We did everything she wanted to do. It was almost 4 and we were heading home.

I really didn't want them to take Hannah but we had no choice. But if it was my choice, she would've stayed. It's been two years and now you come back? Who just leaves their child by themselves?

We pulled up to the house and I saw that Savannah and Andrew were already here. I parked the car in the garage and got out. I grabbed Hannah out of the car and brought her inside since she was asleep. Victoria was behind me and we all walked into the house.

I sat a now woke Hannah on the sofa and went upstairs to grab her bags. When I came back down Victoria was sitting next to Hannah. She looked at me and motioned for me to sit next to Hannah. I sat down and sat Hannah on my lap.

"Hannah you going to be staying with someone else." Victoria said.

"Why can't I stay here with you?" She asked.

"Because I have to let you go with your other mom and dad." I looked at Savannah and Andrew.

Hannah looked at them and back at me."But your my mommy and Dell is my daddy."

"And we always will be baby. But you have to go. Okay?"

"But I don't want to." Hannah's eyes started to tear up.

"I know you don't." Victoria sniffed. "Take this." She took off her chain that said "Beckham" and put it around Hannah's neck.

"You keep this. This is mines and I want it to be yours."

"Okay." She said.

We stood up and Savannah reached for Hannah but Hannah frowned and jerked away.

"No. Mommy don't let them take me!" She said.

"You have to go baby. I'm sorry. I love you." Victoria hugged her and kissed her head.

"Let's go Hannah." Savannah grabbed her hand and Hannah started crying.

"Daddy I don't want to go! Let me go." She cried.

Savannah picked up a screaming, kicking Hannah while Andrew carried her bags. They left and I locked the door. I saw tears in Victoria's eyes and I sighed. She walked up the stairs and I followed behind her soon after.

I laid down next to her on the bed and wrapped my arms around her. I tried my best to comfort her, I know Hannah means a lot to her and also a lot to me. We'll miss her.
