I woke up and sat up on the bed. I looked down and saw that I was naked and so was Odell. I smirked as the thoughts of last night ran through my head. I didn't remember too much, but I do remember what happened in here last night.

I got out of the bed and with every step I took, I felt pain between my legs. On top of that, my head was hurting. I finally made it to the bathroom and took two Advil pills.

I made my way over to the tub and ran my water. After last night, I needed this. I lowered my body into the water and pressed the button. Odell walked in and kissed my cheek.

"Morning Baby." He said.

"Morning." I smiled.

I began taking my bath while he took his shower. Once I was done I got out and dried myself off with a towel. Odell and I were supposed to be going to the movies or something tonight and staying in for today. We had been busy this whole vacation and today I wanted to just relax a bit.

I threw on my under garments and Odell came out behind me and got dressed while I went to straighten out the room.

"So what you want to do today?" I asked him.

He shrugged. "This is your vacation. We do what ever you want."

"How about we go shopping and then the movies?"

"That's cool."

I picked up my suitcase and sat it on the bed. I grabbed my white two-piece outfit and slipped it on, then I put on my white heels.

After Odell was dressed we headed to the mall.

"Mama! Mama are you okay?" I asked her as I rushed into her hospital room.

"No. I'm not alright. And I'm not going to lie to myself anymore and say that I am."

"But I thought everything was going to be okay?" I started to tear up.

"Aww baby don't cry." Mama said.

I sniffed and hugged her. She kissed my cheek and rubbed my back as I began to cry.,

Danny soon walked in and I got up and hugged him. By the look on his face, I already knew that he sensed that something was wrong.

"How did you get here? I thought that your car was in the shop?" Mama asked him.

"My girlfriend brought me. She's outside, I didn't know if you were gonna be comfortable with her in here."

"It's ok. Tell Shona to come in."

Shona and Danny have been dating for almost 2 years now. He proposed to her a while back and they were getting married in a few months. Danny walked in with Shona and I hugged her. She hugged me and then went over to hug mama.

"Are you gonna be okay?" She asked.

"I'm afraid not." She shook her head. "Miranda I need you to call Victoria and tell her to come home. I need to see her before I go."

"Why do you have to say it like that?" Danny asked.

"How else am I supposed to say it? I'm not sugar coating anything else! I'm dying and you're just going to have to accept that. The doctor says that at the rate that I'm going. I have less than 2 weeks left." She said.

It must be that bad then.

"Get Victoria on the phone."

I nodded and walked out the room to make the call.
