"Alright Canis, that's enough of bandage for a twisted ankle. Hey, what's that you applied on my leg in between? That green color gel...was it some ointment? Gosh it burns." I asked, while he was almost done dressing my leg.
"Oh, that's this thing we make here, out of some herbs. It sort of gives a relief after three days, provided you don't attempt to open the bandage." He said, wiping his hand with a towel.
"Three days?" I asked. "How am I supposed to walk around with this thing for three days? Wait, have you applied it on my forehead too?"
"Yep." He said. "Not me. My mom did. You will feel a burning sensation for three days, after which you can remove it. The pain will completely be gone."
"Ouch. My forehead's really burning." I said, rubbing my forehead.
"Ah...don't do that. That will only increase the pain." He said. "You're done with breakfast right?"
"Yep." I said. "Two slices of bread. How royal !"
"Audrey, you ready to go?" Rigel came in out of nowhere.
"Not really." I said. "Why am I feeling sad all of a sudden?"
"Aww man. Now you feel this?" Canis said, hugging me. "Please visit us sometime soon."
"Yea." Rigel came running, and hugged me from the back.
"I'm gonna fall." I said, holding onto the two of them tightly.
"Audrey, hurry up. Your mom's been waiting for a pretty long time now." Aunt Daisy came in the open door.
"Yea, coming." I said, holding onto Canis' arm.
"We'll get your bags." Canis said. "Start walking now, or else you won't reach there any soon."
"Hold onto me." Aunt Daisy said, and I held onto her arm as she put her arm around my shoulder.
"Will you miss us? " She asked, as I walked down the marble stairway, one step at a time. I was hopping with my right leg. I couldn't even touch my left foot down. I could see mom and Niall standing downstairs along with grandma, and both of them looked sort of worried. There was no one else there.
Finally, after I made it. I felt so accomplished. Just as I reached, mom ran towards me, and hugged me, kissed me several time.
"Mom, I'll fall." I said, holding onto her.
"What happened to your foot? And oh my...your forehead." She said, and was about to touch it.
"Ah no. Don't touch that. Six stitches." I said.
And just as she let me go, Niall hugged me. That hug lasted for about ten seconds. It was like as though, he didn't want to let go of me.
"Long time no see." He whispered, and kissed me on my cheek.
"You done there?" Mom asked.
"Yep." Niall said, putting his arm around me shoulder for support as I held onto his arm.
"Alright Rachel how many werewolves?" Grandma asked.
"Three." She said.
"Three? I thought four." Grandma said. "Alright, I'll let you know when it can be done."
"Fine." She said. "And don't come back here until I call you."
Mom didn't reply to that. Canis and Rigel came running down with one trolley bag each. They both gave me one last hug. Canis whispered "Don't mind Joe. Just come over whenever you want."
