4 : No Way !

"Alright, but where do we find her?" Liam asked. "If she's in her mansion according to you Audrey, where is that?"

"Don't jump into any conclusions already guys." I said. "Maybe she's not as friendly as we think. Maybe she might be harmful as well. We need to find someone who's met her."

"Lisa, does your dad know anything?" Mom asked.

"What make you think he'll know mom?" I asked.

"I don't know Mrs. Lucado, but, he did mention about some ghost helping him and his friends a couple of times. And when I asked him about who it was, he just wasn't ready to disclose it."

"Do you think it's the 'singing ghost' he was talking about?" Harry asked.

"I don't know." She said. "But one thing's for sure. She's really helpful to both vampires and werewolves. From the way my dad spoke, he must've met the ghost a lot of times."

"And what about humans? Isn't she friendly with humans?" Niall asked.

"That I don't know." Lisa said. "He didn't mention anything about that."

"I don't think this is a good idea." Louis said. "I mean, the very idea of seeing a ghost is kinda creepy."

"I don't think Zayn can make it. Probably, you and Zayn can stay back at Liam's place with his mom. What say?" Mom said.

"Yea, I think that'll do." Louis said, looking at Zayn who was fast asleep on mom's shoulder.

That's when the doorbell rang. Everyone's eyes shifted to the door. Mom was about to get up, but that's when Liam immediately got up and opened the door.

"Oh, officer. It's you." Liam said.

"Who's that?" I asked Niall.

"Long story." He said.

"Is Mrs. Lucado-...oh there you are mam." He walked in and said. "So this must be your daughter, Audrey?"

"Um, yea?" I said, confused.

"Mam, may I have a word with you?" He asked.

"With all due respect sir, your job was to find the person responsible for this young lad's mom's death. I believe you've questioned me and everyone else here at least ten times. We don't know anything. What do you want?" She asked, in an angry tone.

"Oh no, this has nothing to do with that. Yes we are investigating on who-..." And something stopped him. The lights in my house started flickering. The door started swaying back and forth. Zayn immediately woke up with a start.

The officer took out his pistol, but that's when the front door closed with a loud bang. The cupboards and doors in my house started opening and closing furiously. Zayn shut his eyes and held his hands onto his ears, frightened.

"Some sort of power fluctuation?" Mom said.

"Yea, and does that affect the doors too?" The officer said. "Who's there?"

"Where?" I asked, and immediately turned around my couch. I did see a shadow of someone escape our back door from the kitchen. Everyone except me, Zayn and Louis ran to the kitchen. The officer happened to run for a few yards outside in my backyard, then came running through the front door. All the banging and flickering of lights immediately stopped.

"Do you have any explanation for this?" He asked mom.

"Definitely...no." She said.

"It's best if you leave now." Mom said.
