18 : Practice Sessions

I walked won slowly, as all the girls, yea only girls, were cheering for me. Gibbs immediately held the mic to his mouth and announced "Okay, alright. It will be open for girls too. But on one condition. We, and by we I mean me, or any other professors won't be responsible for any such injuries."

"What if there will be any deaths?" A girl whispered. I heard it, so did Lisa and everyone else around me. Gibbs immediately stared at her. He didn't reply to that. He just handed the mic to Hermit, and walked away. He was encouraging and cheering for him a minute ago, and left him bleeding with girls all around him, booing.

"Hey, you alright?" I went over and asked him.

"Get away from me." He yelled, pushing me away with his left hand, while his right one was covering his bleeding nose. I was still willing to help him, despite of him refusing to it.

"Let him go Lucado." Jake yelled, and pulled Hermit away from the scene.

"That was insane." Niall said, pushing himself through the crowd towards me.

That day, we got permission to stay back and practice for the dance audition tomorrow. Jake saw us, and did the same. We got the auditorium stage, while they were practicing in the balcony of the auditorium. Professor Denver even got us lunch, and some more food for until five in the evening.

"Alright Harry, you take Zayn's position. Liam, fill up Harry's position. Sheldon, enough eating." I heard Niall announce, while Lisa and Louis were busy getting Louis' speakers ready. I was jobless there, so I was sitting on the steps down the stage, going through Niall's phone, and holding onto his bag. Zayn was sitting on the last stair down the stage. He was munching onto his burrito.

"Watcha looking for?" Niall came out of nowhere, leaning down at me.

"Nothing, just bored." I said, locking it.

"I told your mom that we'd be late today. Louis will drop you off today. I told him." He said, sitting beside me.

"What about you?" I asked, giving him his phone.

"No keep it. We're having guests today. Mom told me this morning. Some distant relatives. Sorry honey." He said, putting his arm around me shoulder.

"Ahem." I heard Sheldon say from behind us. "You guys done there?"

"Give me a minute Lewis." Niall said, pushing him off. "Yea, so-..."

"Go, they need you." I said.

"They can wait for a minute or so." He said, leaning closer.

"No not again." I said, pushing him, and he almost slipped the step he was sitting on. I grabbed him by his t.shirt and threw him onto the stage.

"Now that's exactly how you keep a guy to his limits." Sheldon said, helping Niall to get up.

"Girl, you ready with the speakers?" Louis yelled, as Lisa was busy talking to Harry.

"Yep." She yelled back, running towards me with the portable blue speakers. "Tell me when you're ready." Zayn immediately shifted his attention towards us. I noticed he was watching something on his phone, some dance tutorial. He threw his earphones into his bag, kept his phone aside, and watched them start.

Louis looked a little nervous. Just as Lisa was about to play the song, professors Denver and Joanne came running in out of nowhere.

Louis sort of let a breathe out, and ran down the stage towards Zayn, as they both were running towards us with a sheets of paper.
