Dark 2

11 : The Prophecy

We got this huge room, in pretty good condition. It didn't look like the inside of a tree house like I expected. It was all brick walls. But there was only one problem. There were only two beds. No chairs or tables. Not even a stool. There was just two beds one side of the huge room. There was a restroom of course, which was also in good condition.

"I expected it to look a lot more different inside." I said. "I mean, with the bamboo work outside, I thought it would be something like a tree house inside."

"Um guys, bad news." Liam came in running into our room. I was just about to go to sleep.

"What is it?" Mom asked.

"We'll have to stay here until day after tomorrow morning. It's not safe for us to travel tomorrow." He said. "Some werewolves are on the move for someone."

"Is it that bad? I mean, we're travelling with vampires and hybrids, right?" Harry asked.

"You don't wanna mess with werewolves." I said. "They usually go out for attacks like these with their whole pack. It's not gonna be safe."

"Do you think they're also after HER Rachel?" Liam's mom asked.

"Maybe, maybe not." She said. "Take rest everyone. Me, Lisa, Liam and Liam's mom will stay guard."

"You sure you can sleep down there Louis?" Harry asked. "I'll lie down if you can't."

"No I'll be fine." Louis said, leaning onto Liam's shoulder who was sitting beside the bed. He was half asleep already.

"Mom, what about Abel? I completely forgot about him." I asked immediately.

"Oh, he's at Liam's cousin's place." She said. "You need not worry. He's safe there. The place is filled with vampires."

"I feel like I'm missing him." I said, lifting up my blanket over me. "You don't have a problem sharing a bed with me, right?"

"I told you. I'll sleep down on the floor." He said as he was about to sit down on the floor. I leaned over the side of the bed, pulled him back onto the bed and said "Just lie down on the other side. Enough drama."

"Everyone, switch off your phones." Mom said. "We don't want that officer tracking us down here."

"Did he call you mom?" I asked.

"Yea he did, today morning. I didn't reply. I just switched off my phone after that." She said.

"Mom, wake me up at two." I said, looking up at my watch. "I'll stay guard after that."

"Like as if I'll be able to sleep after you get up at two." She said. "Go to sleep. Just wake up when you wake up."

"But-..."

"Goodnight honey." She said, pulling the blanket over me.

"Psst, you asleep yet?" I whispered to Niall from under my blanket.

"Nope." He whispered back. "With all this going on, I'm losing my patience. I'm really worried about Zayn."

"Yea, me too." I said. "If I see he's harmed in any way, I don't know what I'll do. I'll lose my control. Don't even think about stopping me then."

"How do you feel, with all this going on?" He asked slowly.

"To be honest, I am a little scared. I've never gone for an attack like this. I've never been to HER lair. I don't know how it-..."

"Stop worrying so much." He said. "There must be a reason all this is happening."
