Chapter 39: where we left off

"Can we stay like this forever Klaus?" I asked Klaus as we looked up at the pitch dark sky from the sand.

"As long as you wish my love." Klaus smirked.

"I love you say much." I looked at Klaus.

"I love you more." Klaus smirked.

"Klaus a man can up to me today, he told me that loving you would put me in danger. What did he mean by that?" I asked Klaus.

"What man?" Klaus clenched his fist.

"It doesn't matter, what did he mean?" I repeated myself.

"Nothing, Charlotte do you honestly think I would ever hurt you. I love you, you know that." Klaus convinced me. "I have a lot of enemies Charlotte and they will try to get to you and your family but they won't hurt you, or them."

"I can't take that chance Klaus." I sighed. "They said Tyler was in danger, Tyler can't get hurt, if it comes down to it, I will chose him over you Klaus. I'm sorry but my brother will always come first."

"Charlotte you're brother will be fine, you can't leave me-

"I'm sorry Klaus." I sighed then got up and walked away from him.

I walked down the beach, far away from Klaus until when I was just about to leave the beach, I heard a mans scream. I looked out at the water and saw someone drowning. I quickly stripped down to my bikini and ran towards the water. Just when I was about to jump into the water, someone popped up in front of me and I bumped into them and fell. I looked up and saw a man dressed in black. He was a vampire though and he didn't even try to hide his fangs. He bent down to me but I scrambled away from him.

"Stay away from me!" I hissed at him.

"I'm not here to hurt....you." He told me politely. "I need you, to get to your boyfriend."

"Who are you?" I asked him.

"Mikael." He smiled then he grabbed me.

My eyes started to open as I started to regain consciousness again but found myself chained up in my families old cellar. The last thing I remembered was Damon drugging me and now I'm locked up. Why would he do this? I tried pulling on the chains but there was vervain and wolfsbane in them so I stopped struggling.

"Careful, Rick helped with the vervain." Damon appeared from the shadows

"Let me out." I said calmly.

"Nope, not until you've 'turned it back on'." Damon smirked.

I charged at Damon but the chains pulled me back and burnt me again causing me to cry in pain.

"You can't do this!" I screamed. "I can't be fixed, you can't make me what I used to be, I'm different now and you have to accept that!"

"Nope. I'm doing this for you're own good." Damon told me the he walked out o father cellar and left me.

"Damon!" I yelled even though he wasn't there anymore. "Get back here! Let me out Damon! Let me out!"

But he was gone. Damon is so dead when I get out of here but I couldn't get out of here alone. My phone was in my pocket..... If I moved though.....burnt hybrid. I couldn't stay here all day though, it was worth a try. Here goes.... In a rush, I quickly reached into my pocket and took out my phone but it went flying a few feet away as the vervain and wolfsbane dug into my skin. I breathed heavily, breaking through the pain.

Ok ok, get to the phone, ring Tyler, Tyler will help. I used my magic to make the phone fly over to me in my hand. I pressed the voice dial but the pain was too much and the phone fell again.
