"What do you want Elena?" I sighed down the phone to Elena while walking into the kitchen where Damon was early in the morning.
"We've got a problem. Meet me at Ricks." She said simply then hung up.
"A please would have been appreciated." I rolled my eyes and Damon laughed. "What are you doing today?"
"Working with Stefan and Bonnie with the coffins." Damon replied.
"I could probably get them opened but Klaus wants to see me and I'll probably be with him all day. He might have more torture in mind." I rolled my eyes again and the hated thought.
"It's Caroline's birthday today." Damon reminded me but I already knew.
"So what." I shrugged grabbing my keys and leaving the house.
I drove to Alaric's and walked up to his apartment where I walked straight in to find Elena boxing with Rick.
"That is so pathetic. It looks like an episode of Scooby Doo now." I observed their weak fighting skills. "What do use want?"
"To talk." Elena took her gloves off. "About what you and Stefan think you're doing to try and hurt Klaus. You need to give him the coffins back."
"That's not happening Elena." I told her.
"Fine then you and Tyler have to break the sire bound." Elena demanded.
"Why don't you tell me what happened and I'll decide what I have to do." I smirked.
"Tyler almost got Jeremy killed yesterday because Klaus sired him to do it and to make sure Jeremy wasn't wearing his ring. Alaric jumped out in front of the car and saved him but still, Jeremy and or Alaric could have both died." Elena told me.
"Why do you think I care what happens some kid or my history teacher?" I asked her.
But for some reason, I did care a little. Jeremy and Alaric once meant so much to me and it seemed impossible that I didn't care for them even a little.
"Jeremy's leaving Tor, and he mightn't be back, at least until I know he's safe." Elena sighed.
"Jeremy wouldn't just leave, Damon compelled him didn't he?" I folded my arms knowing exactly what happened.
"You should say goodbye to him." Elena suggested.
"Jeremy used to be like a brother to me but he's nothing to me anymore." I told her then I spun around and ran out of the apartment dramatically.
In the car I realised what I had to do when I started driving to Jeremy and not Klaus. My emotions may be gone but I still remember how I felt about Jeremy and if he was leaving then I had to say my goodbyes.
As I reached Jeremy front door he opened it even before I knocked. He looked down at the porch as he walked out to me then he finally looked up at me.
"So you're leaving?" I started the conversation.
"Why do you care?" Jeremy sighed sitting down on the front step.
"I don't." I rolled my eyes then went to walk away from him but he jumped up and grabbed my wrist, pulling me back to him.
"You don't have to say it Tor, I know what you're feeling." Jeremy told me. "Even if you won't admit it, I know. I miss you too and I love you more."
"Goodbye Jeremy Gilbert." I sighed.
Before I could walk away, Jeremy hugged me. I fought with my hidden emotions for how much I cared for this boy but in the end I walked away because that's who I am now. I left Jeremy, it probably being the last time I would see him and I went to Klaus who I hated more than anybody in this entire world.
