My eyes started to open and I saw I was alone in a classroom but then a man appeared.

"And the famous witch awakes." The man smirked.

"Who are you?" I asked him standing up.

"Don't worry I won't hurt you, I'm a warlock, Klaus' warlock. See we planned on just leaving you out if this but since you found out Klaus' body switch secret I have to keep you distracted." He told me. "Relax, I don't hurt fellow witches."

I raised my hand and used my magic to make the warlock fly across the room and hit the wall with a thud.

"You mightn't but I do." I stated then ran out of the room.

I didn't know how long I was out but I knew that I had to find Bonnie before something bad happened her. I heard screams from down the hall so I ran towards the screams. I found Damon at the side and Stefan and Bonnie trying to open the cafeteria doors. I saw Bonnie through the doors with Klaus. She was going to get herself killed.

I went towards the doors but Damon got in my way.

"Don't even think about it." Damon hissed.

My best friends was going to die and no one was getting in my way for me to save her, not even Damon. I used my magic to push Damon out of the way, then Stefan and Elena away too. Then I opened the doors and ran into the cafeteria, spelling the door shut again. But it was too late, Bonnie was on the floor, dead and Klaus/Alaric was smirking at me.

"You killed Bonnie!" I yelled. "You're so dead!"

I didn't need to think as I raised my hand making all the bones in his body break.

"You can't kill me!" Klaus yelled.

"I'm much stronger than you think!" I hissed.

"I don't doubt that but I'm not going to hurt you Charlotte." He said.

"Why not?" I asked him.

"In due time my love." He smirked.

"But-

He threw a bag at me distracting my attention. I caught it but then when I looked up, Klaus was gone. I threw the bag in the corner, angry I let him get away then I fell down beside Bonnie realising what was happening. My best friend was dead.

I opened the doors and Stefan, Elena and Damon ran into me as I began to cry over Bonnie's motionless body. Bonnie wasn't supposed to die, I knew she would die, I warned Stefan and Damon but they didn't listen to me. I've known Bonnie since we were in diapers, she couldn't leave me, she can't be dead!

"I told you!" I stood up, yelling at Damon. "I told you she still wasn't strong enough! I told you I could have did it! You didn't listen to me and now Bonnie's dead!"

Damon went to hold me but I snapped back.

"Don't touch me!" I yelled. "Don't."

"You need to calm down." Damon said calmly.

I had to get out of here before I hurt Damon. So I grabbed the bag Klaus gave me and ran out of the cafeteria.

I had no ride home so I rang a taxi. The taxi took me back to the house, where I could be alone, at least until the others came back. I went to my room where I sat on the bed and looked at the bag Klaus gave me. It was heavy. Should I open it? There could be something important in it.

I opened the bag and pulled out a box that was inside it. It was a wooden chest with a lock on. The chest had a symbol engraved on it, it was a weird symbol but it was very pretty. My fingers traced the symbol then down to the lock. I search the bag and found a key that opened the chest.
