Chapter 27: Saving My Brother

I woke up to the slight tingling on my forehead and saw Damon kissing my forehead. I smiled then leaned up and kissed him on the lips.

"Come on baby, we've got a busy day, I've to go get Bonnie ready to kill Klaus." Damon smirked.

"Damon why won't you let me kill him, you know I'm strong enough." I sighed.

"Because." He sighed. "I can handle baby witch dying but I don't know what I would do if something bad happened you."

Damon was telling the truth, he did know I could do it but he was just afraid. I was letting Bonnie die though, I have to do something.

"I have to warn Caroline and Tyler just incase." I said getting out of bed in my underwear.

"He'll be fine, Tyler, you won't lose him." Damon said and I nodded. "Hurry back though, I want to spend some time with you first"

"Ok." I smiled slipping into a pair of skinny jeans, a blue tank top, a white hoodie, a black body warmer and black flat boots.

Then my phone rang and I answered it, knowing Damon could hear too.

"Charlotte it's Liz, I've some bad news, your mum had a fall and she's in the hospital. Tyler already knows and he'll be hear soon but Caroline's here anyway keeping your mum company. You should come by." Liz said down the phone then I dropped the phone.

Damon rushed over and grabbed my phone, thanked Liz then hung up.

"Tyler's back, I have to get to the hospital!" I said in a panic.

"Do you want me to come with you?" Damon asked me.

"No, I just have to go." I said running out of the room.

I ran through the house but stopped at my room and grabbed the Klaus phone off my bed. When I picked it up I noticed the ring, it was on my finger but I didn't put it there. Klaus needs to get out of my head. I tried to take it off but it wouldn't come off so I just left it on my finger and ran down to my car.

While I was driving to the hospital I rang Klaus.

"Yes love?" He answered.

"You're sick! What did you do to my mother?!" I yelled.

"I'm sorry I don't have time to talk, I'm going hunting." He joked then hung up.

I drove even faster now until I got to the hospital. I jumped out and ran up to my mums ward. I ran into her room and saw her on the bed and Caroline and Tyler beside her. They were ok. Tyler was back! I ran my fingers through my hair and tried to catch my breath then I wrapped my arms around Tyler.

"Tyler don't you ever leave me again! Do you know how worried I was." I cried into his shoulder.

"Tori I'm not staying." Tyler told me and I pulled back

"Listen Tyler Lockwood I'm not fighting with you while mum's not well, but you're not going anywhere until I talk to you and Caroline." I told him and he nodded then I turned to my mum. "Mum are you ok?"

"That's the first time you've called me mum since you were a little girl." My mum teared up.

I ran over and hugged her. She was my mum and with everything that happening its making me value who I still have. I just wish I had time with my dad too.

"Charlie-bear."

I looked in the corner of the room and I saw my dad, maybe I could get my final goodbye with him after all.

"I'm so proud of you Charlie-bear and I love you." My dad smiled at me then he vanished.

"I love you mum." I turned back to my mum.
