Chapter 14: Home Is Where The Heart Is

"Ready?" Jack asked me, popping his head into the apartment.

"Yeah." I replied throwing a pair of shorts on over my bikini bottoms.

"Yeah Tori, you're gonna have to put a top on over your bikini top." Jack told me.

"Why? Do I look fat?" I asked him looking at my flat belly.

"No! It's just hormonal boys and all." Jack said awkwardly.

"Shut up Jack." I laughed at him.

I pulled out Charlotte, Masons board and Jack looked at it then at me.

"Masons board." Jack sighed.

"Yeah, it is named after me." I shrugged.

"But your name's Tori." Jack stated confused.

"Nope, it's Charlotte Victoria Amanda Sarah-Jayne Emily Lockwood, I shortened it to Tori, Mason names his favourite board after me just like I named mine Mason." I explained.

"I never knew you're name was Charlotte." Jack laughed.

"Yeah well, I don't broadcast it." I smirked. "Come on, I wanna get the good waves."

Jack and I rushed outside and down to the beach which was only a stone throw away. There was only a few people at the beach because it was still early but I recognised almost them all as the usual surfers just like me, Mason and Jack.

"Tori!" Chase exclaimed noticing me and drawing everyones attention to me.

All the boys dropped their boards and ran over to me.

"Hey guys." I smiled.

"Your back! We missed you." Danny told me.

"Yeah, the waves are coming in great today, you picked a great day to come back." Finn told me.

"Well then let's get surfing!" I cheered.

All the boys cheered and headed towards the water, I was about to go too but Jack stopped me.

"Sun lotion." Jack smirked and threw the bottle of sun cream at me. "I'll see you out there."

Then Jack ran towards the water leaving me to put on sun lotion. I sat down on the sand and started applying it to my skin but then a shadow cast user me. I looked up and saw Corey, my ex boyfriend and the lifeguard.

"Your back." Corey stated.

"You still work here." I rolled my eyes.

"Tor can we talk?" He asked me.

"Nope." I replied jumping up and grabbing my board. "I've gt a lot of surfing to catch up on."

Then I ran down to the water and into it. It felt so good being out in the water again, just me and a board. This is where I was meant to be.

"So you had a good time?" Jack asked me as we walked along the beach.

"Of course, I was the best surfer out there." I laughed.

"Well what do you want to do now? Dinner? Ice cream? More Surfing?-

I stopped listening to him when I spotted a tattoo parlour on the beach side in front of us. I knew what I wanted

"I want to get a tattoo." I told Jack.

"Ha that's funny." Jack laughed but noticed I was serious. "No uh ah, no, Mason would kill me."

"Jack Mason had a huge ass back tattoo and you've tattoos, please." I said.

"No Tori." He sighed.
