Chapter 36: Dying For My Brother

"You didn't have to knock him unconscious Klaus." I sighed, rubbing Stefan's cheek.

"He'll be up soon. We're here." Klaus smiled, standing up.

We were in the back of a moving van on our way back to Mystic Falls. There was two reasons Klaus could be back here, for me, or for his hybrids. Either way, I was home. I do get to see Tyler but Klaus will find Elena but none of that matters to me at the minute, I will save Elena later but I have to see Tyler first.

I looked around the van at Stefan body, Klaus, the coffins then my eyes darted to the corner where I saw Jack. I haven't seen him in so long, something must be wrong.

"Mason wants you to do the spell you did before you changed into a werewolf, we think you'll need it, you could be in danger." Jack told me then he disappeared.

Just then Stefan woke up. I didn't understand, how could I be in danger but I didn't question it, I would do what Mason and Jack wanted.

"I need to go." I announced.

"Come to the school later." Klaus told me and I nodded.

I jumped out of the van into my old town that I missed dearly. I didn't want to be seen until later but first I had to do the spell. I need the bracelet though which was in my Lockwood house. I had to get home and get the bracelet without being seen.

I took the woods way home so that I wouldn't be noticed until I came to my house. I remembered it was prank night at school and it was almost dark so Tyler would be there already. Mum might be in the office but I wasn't taking chances. I climbed up the vines by my room then jumped in through the window.

I quietly searched my room then found the bracelet under the bed. I set it on the bed then chanted the memorable spell I had preformed only one other time. I was expecting the worse when I did the spell but instead nothing bad happened. Last time I died, this time it didn't even hurt. I tried a spell and found nothing happened. Well it worked, I guess it's only the first time that's bad.

Since I couldn't touch the bracelet yet I levitated it and placed it in a box. I lifted the box I was soon going to present to Matt for the second time, giving him the power of a powerful witch again. I had to find Matt first, he's probably at the prank night. After I give it to Matt, I'm going to find Tyler.

I kept the box just in my hands then I sneaked into Tyler's room and found his keys, he obviously must have got a ride from someone. I climbed back outside then got into Ty's car. I quickly drive to the deserted school in the pitch dark now.

I jumped out of the car and ran towards the school still holding the magic box. The door was unlocked meaning the seniors were inside pranking. I entered the dark school getting goosebumps, excited I will see the people I haven't seen all summer.

Now where would Matt be? My senses were leading me to the exercise room, it was like I was a tracker dog, sniffing someone out. I ran towards the gym as fast as I could, short of time. There was going to be fireworks tonight and first I had to know my magic was safe.

I opened the door and found Matt inside on the work out machines. I walked closer to him and put my hand on his shoulder. He jumped and faced me, before he could say anything I put my finger to his lips to silence him then I tapped my ear letting him know that we could be heard. He looked happy though to see me but mostly surprised.

I handed Matt the box and watched him open it. I mimed the words 'put it on' and he did. I smiled at him and he smiled back there hugged me.

"I missed you so much." Matt whispered on the brink of crying.

"Matt you'll make me cry, please don't make me cry" I laughed. "Now I need to find Elena and Tyler."

Matt nodded and we walked out of the exercise room. Matt and I split up to find them. Klaus seas going to kill Elena for real and I couldn't let that happen. I walked down to the gym and through the doors. Again, it must be my werewolf senses because I ran into Klaus with Elena, Stefan and two students.

"Tori." Elena stated.

I broke out in a smile and ran over to Elena and hugged her but I backed away quickly to look at Klaus.

"You lied to me." Klaus looked hurt at me. "Now I won't feel as bad when I do what I'm about to."

I looked at him questioningly but just then Rebekah burst through the door pulling Tyler and Bonnie I looked back at Klaus, really confused about what was happening but I knew it would be something bad.

"Get your hands off my brother!" I yelled at Rebekah.

Rebekah pushed Tyler over to me and I caught him. I pulled Tyler in close to me not wanting to ever let him go. This moment meant more to me than anything, I got what I wanted. As Klaus tried to pull Tyler away from me, I jus pulled him closer until Klaus ripped my brother from me.

"Give me my brother back!" I cried with tears in my eyes. "Please Klaus."

"Sorry Tori but Tyler here is going to be my second attempt at hybrid making." Klaus told me, not showing any emotion at all.

"What?" I asked him

"He's killing your brother love, and unless this little witch finds a way to fix the hybrid curse, he will remain dead." Rebekah told me.

Then Klaus bit his wrist for Tyler to drink. I didn't think in the moment, all I knew is that I had to save Tyler. So just before Tyler could drink Klaus' blood I ran up to Klaus, pushed Tyler out of the way and drank from Klaus' wrist. Klaus pushed me off him but it was too late. I knew I had did the right thing, I saved my brother and that is always the right option.

"How heroic of you but Tyler's still turning and my blood will leave you first, you're not dying." Klaus told me.

"I'm your werewolf, now kill me." I told klaus.

"No." Klaus refused.

"Tori what are you doing?" Bonnie asked me.

I walked over to Rebekah, knowing that even if Klaus wouldn't kill me, she would.

"Do it Rebekah." I told her.

Rebekah didn't even hesitate as she snapped my neck.....
