"If I lay here, if I just lay here, would you lay with me and just forget the world. Forget what we're told, before we get too old, show me your garden that's bursting into life. All that am-

"All that I ever was is here in your perfect eyes they're all I can see." Damon cut my singing off so he could join in the same song.

I was just finished getting ready and relaxing to some snow patrol when Damon joined in. I was wearing Rebekah's purple dress that looked gorgeous on. I curled my hair and added some black heels that I had and some makeup and that was me.

"Congrats Damon, you know a popular song throughout the world." I rolled my eyes.

"So is that our song? Oh no that's right, our song is that hero song that that guy sings, you remember." Damon smirked.

I did remember, it was from the night of the carnival when I played the song while we were on the fairest wheel, hero by Enrique Inglesias.

"What do you want Damon?" I moaned.

"I just came to say that I think you look beautiful and to give you this." He handed me a corsage bracelet.

"But you're not my date." I said confused.

"I know, just for old times. Hopefully after tonight you'll take me back and we can be happy again." Damon smiled putting the corsage bracelet on me.

"And maybe after tonight you'll realise, we're not meant to be together, Damon." I stated. "I hope you know what you're doing tonight."

"Is that you're compelled way of saying 'stay safe Damon'." He smirked. "Don't worry, I got it. Oh and homecoming's changed to your Lockwood house."

Damon kissed my cheek then left my room. I shook my head then walked over to my dresser. I picked up my necklace Tyler made me and slipped it on then I grabbed my phone and left my room.

I drove alone to my Lockwood house and found it was packed when I got there. Tyler really pulled it off. I got out of the car and walked towards the house, past the huge crowd in the garden by the band. I found Tyler on his own on the outside so I joined him.

"How'd you pull this off?" I asked Tyler.

"What do you want Tori?" Tyler sighed.

"How long are you going to stay made at me bro?" I asked him.

"How long are you going to keep your feelings turned off?" Tyler asked.

"Longer than you'll stay made at me." I snapped back. "Where's mum?"

"Church, I noticed you still haven't told her your back." Tyler stated.

"I tend to avoid awkward confrontations." I said.

"And don't we all know it."

I turned around and put on a fake smile when I saw Klaus, it was time I did my part of the plan. Although it was good seeing him again too.

"Tyler mate, can you give us a minute?" Klaus turned to Tyler.

Tyler glared at both of us then left us. Once he left I smiled again at Klaus and hugged him. Klaus smiled back and held me close in our hug.

"I never thought I'd say it but I really missed you Klaus." I laughed, looking up at him.

"So how is my little first successful hybrid?" Klaus smirked.

"I hate it here, people keep trying to change me." I replied.

"They won't do that as long as I'm around now." Klaus smiled.
