Chapter 37: Turning It Off

I lifted my heavy eyes open and leaned up on the stool. I found Tyler unconscious beside me then I jumped up. Tyler was dead too, I was supposed to die for Tyler but now we're both in transition. Suddenly Tyler woke up too. We could both die now. I looked up and saw Caroline who weakly smiled at me.

"Why did you do that Tori? It wasn't supposed to be you!" Tyler got all emotional.

"Tyler I would die for you a thousand times over. I wasn't going to let it be you, it was supposed to be me but Klaus is so sick that he is going to make us watch each other die." I sighed. "It'll be ok Tyler, I love you."

"I love you too Tori." Tyler shed a tear and hugged me.

I wiped my own tears away then Klaus barged into the room and over to us.

"Ok here's what will happen, you two will drink Elena's blood and if you're lucky it will work and if it doesn't then you two just die." Klaus told us holding out a glass of Elena's blood.

"And here's me thinking that you cared about me." I rolled my eyes.

"Tori would you like me to ring Damon and you can talk to him just in case?" Caroline asked me.

Damon. I hadn't even thought about him I've been too focused on Tyler. What's he going to think? Where is he anyway? He's usually always stuck in the middle.

"You mean in case I die? No, just tell him I love him." I sighed.

I looked at Tyler one last time then grabbed the glass from Klaus and drank half of Elena's blood then set the rest of it on the table. Everyone looked at me waiting to see what would happen. I felt fine - spoke too soon. I fell off the chair, holding my heart and coughing vigorously. My whole body ached as I tossed and turned on the ground, breaking nearly all of my bones as well. I screamed loudly on all fours then my eyes flew open and the pain stopped. It worked, I was a hybrid now.

"Well it worked." Klaus smirked.

"Tori, Elena." Caroline warned me.

"Make sure Tyler will be ok." I sighed.

I jumped out and ran out of the room. I was much faster. It was hard I believe that now I was a vampire and a werewolf, it was a lot to take in. I was the first successful hybrid made and Tyler would be the second. I felt so alive but I had to make sure Elena was alive now too.

I ran to the gym where I didn't find Elena but Stefan, restraining himself.

"He compelled me! To drink from Elena!" Stefan yelled, holding himself back.

Stefan tried running for the door but I stopped him, getting in his way and he flew across the gym. I never felt so alive, I could do anything. I ran over to Stefan and pinned him against the wall.

"Stefan don't! Stop it, resist it! You love her, like I love Damon and you never want to hurt her! Come on Stefan we've spent all Summer pretending we were fine when we weren't! But we're back and we can be with the people will love. You can't hurt her Stefan, it's Elena." I told Stefan and he calmed down.

Then I was pushed out of the way by Klaus.

"Turn it off Stefan!" Klaus compelled him. "Now go get me Elena."

Just like that Stefan was gone. Klaus compelled him to flip the switch and to stop caring. Stefan was gone. Then he turned to me and he instantly pushed my up against the wall too.

"I'm going to enjoy this so much. Turn it off Charlotte." he tried compelling me.

"Go to hell!" I screamed.

"turn it all off." He tried to compel me again.

"No!" I fought.

Klaus pushed my harder against the wall, hurting my back. I spat in his face then he pushed me to the ground. He bent down to me and kissed me then backed away from me.

"Now turn it off!" He compelled me.

He caught me when I was weaker and I didn't have a choice. So I turned it off and I felt nothing....

"Damon got Elena out of the hospital and Klaus skipped town with some of Elena's blood." I heard Bonnie tell Matt.

"And how's Tyler and Tori?"Matt asked.

"Why don't you ask me yourself human?" I asked Matt walking around the car. "I want my magic back."

"Tori are you ok?" Matt asked me.

"Just give me my magic back before I kill you." I ordered.

Matt took the bracelet off and gave it to me. I felt the magic transfer back into my body then when I was satisfied I turned on my heel and ran on to the Salvatores. I was a hybrid witch and nobody could stop me now, I felt so strong. I stopped at the house and walked on through where I found Elena and Damon and Stefan had just arrived too.

"What are you doing here?" Elena asked me.

"Same thing as Stefan, protecting Klaus' assets." I smirked.

Damon went to walked towards me but Elena stopped him.

"Damon she's gone, just like Stefan." Elena told Damon.

"Elena it's Tori, she's not gone, she can't leave me." Damon sighed.

I didn't feel anything for the Salvatore brother anymore, he meant nothing to me.

"Elena you might have gave up on Stefan but I'm not giving up on her." Damon snapped at Elena. "This is Tori we're talking about, you of all people should know, you grew up with her. Elena you didn't give up on Caroline so how can you give up on Tori. I'm not. I'm going to bring her back and I'm never going to hurt her again."

Again, that meant nothing to me, they were just words from a stranger.

"Stefan I'm hungry, let's go get someone to eat." I licked my lips.

"Let's." Stefan smirked.

We turned to the door but Damon got in my way, getting up in my face.

"You're not gonna wanna do that, trouble." He told me, nicknaming me.

"And who's gonna stop me, we both know you won't touch me." I smirked.

"You don't want to kill people, it's not you." Damon said.

"You don't know me and I have killed before why should this time be any different?" I asked him rhetorically. "You don't know me and don't even think you do, you don't know the first thing about me."

"I know you love me." Damon stood proud.

"You must have me confused with Andy Star, you remember the girl you were sleeping with whenever you were apparently trying to get me back because I was the love of your life. That's fine anyway that you slept with her because now I don't care that Klaus kissed me, not that I ever did but when he kissed me, I actually enjoyed it." I told Damon.

Damon just stood blankly. I grabbed Stefan's hand then pulled him out to go kill someone....
