Austin's POV:

I told Dez everything. How I like Ally, but I also like Cassidy, who I'm still with. How I plan to make Ally like me, in secret, and how I need his help in order to do so.

"First you need to dump Cassidy," he advised.

"How do I do that?" I asked.

"It's easy. Walk up to her, and dump her. Preferably in the meanest way possible."

"I can't be mean to her!" I whined.

"Yes you can, just say 'Cassidy, I like you, but I like Ally more. So we're done. By the way, Ally's more adorable than you' and then just leave her."

"Why in the world would I want to do that?" I asked.

"Don't know. It seems like a good drama scene for a movie," he shrugged,"they don't call me the love whisperer for nothing!"

I rolled my eyes. "No one calls you that."

-later that week-

I broke up with Cassidy, and not in the way Dez told me too. I just said it wasn't working out, and, she was mad, but, she was reasonable about it.

Ally's POV:

Austin broke up with Cassidy today for whatever reason.

She through a fit, I saw the whole thing.

Austin says he's done with her, but I'm positive that wont be the last I see of her.

At least I won't have to think about the fact that Austin's dating her when she knocks my books out of my arms again later, or makes fun of my outfit of the day.

-after school-

To my surprise, she didn't knock my books today. I didn't see her at all, not at lunch, not in English, not even at her usual spot with all the cheerleaders.

And then when I got home, Austin started acting... strange.

Like, I was just sitting on my bed, reading, when he asked me to help him with an algebra problem on his homework. I got up and followed him into his room. First he offered to let me sit on his lap when there was another chair, and then when I said no, he laughed really really hard.

It wasn't even funny. All I said was the two letter word, 'no.'

When he finally chilled again, I started trying to help him.

"Your hair looks nice, did you do something different today?" He asked, feeling it. I gave him the weirdest look I could muster.

"No," I answered, trying to not focus on his hand running through my hair. I took a few deep breaths. Can he tell that what he's doing is making me go crazy inside?

Then he started making those kinds of comments all the time. And I couldn't get his algebra problem done. Soon, it had been 3 hours in his room, with nothing accomplished because he wouldn't stop touching my arm or hand and laughing about everything that I said.

I had to leave, it was too weird of him to be like that around me. Besides, I cannot flirt to save my life. I would just make myself look completely stupid.

I'm starting to think he likes me, because he's sure acting like it, and it's not like the other night he tried kissing me or anything. (Yes, that was sarcasm.)

But honestly, we have so many boundaries because we live under the same roof that I just want to be friends. But he's just so cute....
