Labyrinth 3 : Sarah's Return

Fate

*Jareth's POV*

I awoke to the sun shining on my face.  I was blinded when I opened my eyes but then turned to face Roselea.

Her face was emotionless, it seemed like she would never wake up. I still had a hold of her hand, she still felt warm. I lifted myself out of her bed, my hair in a worst mess than usual... I looked at Roselea, hoping she will awake at some point. Why wouldn't she wake up? She couldn't die... I won't let her! I groggily went to Roselea's piano. I touched the ivory keys to a familiar tune. I knew how to play many tunes. I was playing lower part of Heart and Soul, a cute little tune I taught her when she first got her piano.

Then the melody came... without me even touching the keys. I then saw a familiar face next to me... Roselea?!

*Sarah's POV*

I slept very well, surprisingly... I couldn't get Jareth out of my mind... he was so heartbroken to see Roselea helpless and may never wake again.

I still remembered what he looked like when he arrived at the door last night. His face was stained with tears and you could see the heartbreak in his eyes.

I still couldn't believe he kissed me!! Why did he do that?! I was just trying to help. I wasn't into the whole lip lock we had. But man that was a good kiss...

What am I saying?!?!?!?!

I am shocked at what I was thinking. Why does he have to be such a bad boy guy!?

I don't know what to do... I hope Roselea is okay, then I can get out of here. So I can be farther away from Jareth...

*Jareth's POV*

There were no words... was Roselea really here and awake?!

"Good morning Father, are you okay? You look like a train wreak... we should fix you right up, shall we?" And she took my hand. It was her...

We walked to the throne room, Roselea still in her bloody clothes from yesterday. "I better get dressed, you should too." Roselea walked into her room and I walked to mine.

"Sarah! I need to get in there! Can I come in?" I yelled through my door. She yelled back, "Go ahead! It's your room!" And I opened my door. I was still exhausted. " How was your stay at chez Jareth?" I said, wearing a smirk across my face.

"Bareable..." and she walked out of the room. I got dressed, a white shirt, black pants/leggings/tights and my black boots. I then walked out, a little sluggish and closed my door. A few feet away I heard little girl screams. It must have been Sarah and Roselea. Sure enough I saw Roselea and Sarah hugging like they would never see each other again. I wouldn't mind seeing her again... I guess but a Labyrinth without Sarah would be fine with me.

Roselea then ran to me and gave me a big hug. "Thank you for taking care of me. I love you, Father." And she hugged me tighter. Then Sarah tapped Roselea's shoulder. She turned to her and gave her another hug. "Thank you for helping me, and being there for me. You are alright Sarah... you are alright..." and she smiled. "Come back anytime..." and Roselea made a crystal. "Whenever you need me, I will be there. I will send you home. Have a safe trip, and take care of Toby." And Sarah was in a bubble, flying home.

I finally had my Roselea back in my life again. " Now is time to have breakfast." I said but we both yawned. "Can we sleep late today?" Roselea asked and I sat on my throne. "We can take a nap... for a little while... until the Goblins are awake again." and I fell asleep. But then Roselea woke me up. "We need to send word to the Goblins to get out of hiding..."

"We can wait... let's enjoy the peace and quite." And I smiled and she smiled back, what a wonderful day it became.
