Chapter 18

   KIANNA'S POV

  Currently, I was watching the masterpiece that was... Titanic. My eyes were glued to the screen for so long that I had almost forgotten that Bruce was still with me.
  From the corner of my eye, I could tell that Bruce was really bored just by his body language.

  I smiled over at Bruce saying,"Batman, I know it's not your type of movie, but I would at least act like I'm paying attention."

  Bruce tried to pay attention to the movie, but it wasn't really working. I just turned the movie off and faced Bruce.

  Bruce looked over at me and said,"What? Why did you do that?"

  I shrugged and honestly said,"Because you're bored, and I'd like to do something that will keep you awake. Bruce, just pay attention!!"

  Bruce chuckled and held my chin, but then someone pushed Bruce over. Dick. I attacked Dick, from the side, with a very tight hug, but I pulled the rest of the boys into the hug, too.

  Bruce groaned in pain but rolled his eyes in annoyance.

  Dick smirked saying,"Someone is upset because his girlfriend didn't kiss him!! Awweeee!!"

  Bruce blankly looked at Dick, which caused Dick to clear his throat and look away from Bruce. I got up and walked over to Bruce. I sat down in his lap and leaned onto his arm. Bruce wrapped his other arm around me and kissed my forehead.

  I smiled and kissed his nose, and Tim groaned saying,"Please stop with all this affection!! It's gross!!"

  I grabbed Tim's shoulders and pulled him back towards me. Then, I kissed his cheek multiple times. Tim gently pushed me away and went to go do something upstairs.

  Bruce chuckled and high fived me saying,"Honey, I'm impressed. Do I make you nervous?"

  I could feel Bruce getting closer by the second, and my breath got caught in my throat. Since I didn't know what else to do, I pushed Bruce over and ran up the stairs.

  I heard Alfred yell,"MS. KIANNA, PLEASE DON'T HURT YOURSELF!! MASTER BRUCE!!"

  Oh, Alfred. I would always be very thankful for his concern for me. I ran into one of the guest rooms and locked the door behind me. I let out a sigh of relief and took a few steps back.
  I took a few more steps back, only to bump into a very muscular chest. I thought it was Bruce and went to hit his chest, but it was Superman.

  He gently grabbed my arm and chuckled saying,"I just got back from the dead, and you're already trying to knock me down again. Kianna, that hurts my feelings."

  I laughed but smiled so big and pulled Clark in for a hug.

  He hugged me back and said to me,"I'm sorry if I'm interrupting anything, but I just wanted to invite you and Bruce over for dinner in an hour. Is that all right?"

  I nodded saying,"That sounds great, Clark. Hey, Superman?"

  He hmmed in response and turned around to face me. I smiled and rested my hand on Clark's shoulder.

  I said,"It's nice to have you back. I really missed having you around."

  Superman bowed to me, which caused me to chuckle.

  He sent me a smile and said,"I missed you, too, Kianna. Well, I should get back to Lois."

  I smiled back saying,"You should get back to Lois, Superman. Tell Lois that I love her and that I'll also be there later to bother her."

  Clark nodded and hugged me before he flew out the nearest window. Bruce managed to get the door open, but I had a feeling that he knew that I was just in here talking to Clark.
  He was Batman, and he was nosy. Bruce tackled me and pinned me down. I chuckled, but I motioned for Bruce to let go of my wrists for a second.

  Bruce obeyed. I smiled and brought my hands up to his face.

  I stroked Bruce's cheek saying,"Clark invited us over for dinner in an hour. You're not too busy to go, are you?"

  Bruce shook his head and nuzzled his nose against mine.

  I just smiled, but I asked Bruce,"Bruce, do you remember when you told me that you had something that you wanted to ask me some time ago?"

  Bruce nodded and said,"I remember. Why, Ki?"

  I asked him,"Well, when are you going to ask me what you wanted to ask me, Batman?"

  Bruce placed kisses all over my face and said,"Soon, Ki. Soon. I promise."

  Bruce helped me up before we got dressed and headed out the door. I managed to drag Alfred along with us, which made Alfred smile.

  Once we arrived at Mrs. Kent's house, Mrs. Kent immediately opened the door for us.

  She hugged me tightly saying,"It's good to have you here, Ki. I've missed you."

  Then, Mrs. Kent smiled at Bruce and Alfred before she said to them,"Bruce, how are you? Alfred, how are you?"

  Alfred chuckled and responded to Mrs. Kent before he politely walked past us. Bruce kissed Martha's cheek and tried to lead me inside, but I pulled him back.

  I squeezed Bruce's hand and whispered into his ear,"Would you please go and check on Lois?"

  Bruce nodded and kissed me slowly, then he made his way inside.

  Mrs. Kent chuckled and said,"Darling, I see the way you look at Bruce. It's cute. Don't be embarrassed about it, Kianna."

  Mrs. Kent stopped for a second when she saw me looking over at Clark. Clark was close, but he was standing in the grass by himself. 

  She held my chin between her fingers saying,"What better time than now to talk to him? I know it may be scary, but Clark will listen to you. I know it."

  "Thank you, Mrs. Kent. I'll try my best to talk to him. Really, thank you for everything. I love you."

  Mrs. Kent stopped holding my chin between her fingers and said to me,"I love you, too, Kianna. Clear the tension and be the woman that both Clark and Bruce need you to be. You can do this. I have faith in you."

  I smiled and nodded to Martha. I took a couple of deep breaths, slowly making my way over to Clark.
