   KIANNA'S POV

The next morning, I wasn't greeted by Bruce Thomas Wayne. I was greeted by no one. Meaning, I was alone. I frowned, but I realized that Bruce could've been downstairs doing something else that was very important.
After I finished being dramatic, I sat up and removed the covers from around my body. It took me a minute to do that since I moved around so much whenever I slept. Anyway, I got out of bed, brushed my teeth, washed my face, and then put my hair up.

Since I wanted to see what Bruce was doing, I walked out of the room and down the stairs. The first person I noticed was Alfred. Alfred looked like he was about to go down to the Batcave, and I followed behind him very quietly.
It took Alfred less than thirty seconds to notice me following behind him, but he chuckled and walked down the stairs with me. Once I made it to the very bottom of the stairs, I saw that Bruce was fixing the Batmobile.

  Alfred said,"Master Bruce?"

Bruce turned around and sent me a wink, but he waited for Alfred to speak to him. I let them have their conversation before I heard the doorbell going off from upstairs.
I jogged up the stairs and down the hall, almost tripping over my own two feet. However, I caught myself and rushed to open the front door.

When I opened the front door, it was Lex Luthor that stood there with a smirk on his face. I knew that Luthor was the cause of Doomsday being set free in Metropolis a while ago, but why was Luthor here at Wayne Manor?

I just offered him a very fake smile and said,"Hello, Lex. What are you doing here? Are you here to remind someone that you dropped her off the side of a very tall building not too long ago?"

Lex chuckled and tried to hold my chin, but I took a step back from him.

He frowned and said,"Oh, you're still with Bruce Wayne, then? Well, that changes things. Anyway, that's not why I'm here, Ms. Houston. Give him this, I wish to speak with him later. Good day, Ms. Houston."

I just nodded and gently closed the door. Geez, Lex really did creep me out. Bruce walked up to the front door and noticed Lex's card in my hand. He gently took it from me and immediately threw it into the trashcan.

I laughed and said,"Bruce, don't you think that you might want to look at that first? You must be at least a little curious as to what's on it."

Bruce shrugged and blankly said,"No, it couldn't have been anything important, Ki. Will it make you feel better if I read it?"

Bruce pulled me close by my waist, and I leaned on his shoulder. He reached down and took the card out of the trashcan.

Bruce examined the card before he asked me,"Do you have any plans?"

I shook my head before he rushed up the stairs. I guess I was going to this thing with Bruce, then. So, I rushed up the stairs and into the room. I chose the best dress I had, which happened to be black with a blue belt around the waistline.

I smirked and put it on before I let my hair down. I curled the ends of my hair and headed down the stairs.

Bruce stood there with his mouth wide open, and I laughed saying,"Wayne, please don't catch bugs. I really don't wanna kiss that."

Alfred chuckled. Bruce just rolled his eyes and walked behind me.

He took my hand and pulled me back into him saying,"You look... stunning. Kia, I'll be right there with you, all right?"

I nodded and smiled up at Bruce before he kissed my nose and led us to his black Lamborghini. Bruce kissed my hand again and helped me into his very exotic vehicle, then he drove to LexCorp. Once we got there, we were immediately greeted by flashing lights and reporters.
I double blinked as I was unable to see Bruce any longer. Given how sick it made me to be in very tight spaces, I began to worry. I stopped worrying when I felt Bruce's hands gripping my waist. I looked up at Bruce.

Bruce said,"I'm here. We'll be fine, all right?"

I nodded. Bruce wrapped his arms around me protectively before we walked into the party together. One waitress tried to hand me a drink, but Bruce pushed the tray away from me and gave me a look. I held in a laugh, but I narrowed my eyes at Bruce.

Bruce chuckled and guided me through the crowd before I heard a familiar voice yell,"KIANNA!!"

Bruce and I both turned to see Lois and Clark standing there. I screamed so loud and pulled them both in for a group hug. Clark smiled, and Lois hugged back.

I let go of both of them and said,"Here for Lex, too, huh? He came by Wayne Manor earlier this morning. Maybe Superman and Batman could see what he's up to?"

Lois and I looked between Bruce and Clark before they nodded.

Lois and I smiled at each other, but Bruce took my hand and said,"First, we're dancing. May I, Ki?"

  "You may, Batman."

Bruce smiled and led me over to the floor before he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me as close as he possibly could to him.
I smiled and kissed his nose, and Bruce kissed my nose. I rested my head on his shoulder and played with his collar, but I saw a group of people rushing towards the stairs.

Clark sent me an apologetic look, but he gave Bruce the "It's important" look.

I stepped back from Bruce immediately before he pecked my lips and sternly said,"You get these people out of here, Ki."

I grabbed Bruce's arm and worriedly said,"What about you and Clark? Lois and I are coming with you two."

Clark shook his head and said,"No, we need the two of you out of harm's way. Lex has a trick or two up his sleeve, and these people can't stay here any longer."

Bruce kissed me one more time before he held my side saying,"Darling, get these people out of here right now. That's an order, Kia."

I nodded, and Lois left to handle the bottom floors. That left me to handle the upper floors, so I rushed into the elevator before it closed.
