   KIANNA'S POV

Bruce was doing too much. I pushed his hands away and rubbed my eyes.

Bruce chuckled and kissed my nose saying,"Get up, Kia. You have to see Martha, remember?"

There was a hint of sadness in Bruce's eyes when he said "Martha," and, of course, I knew why.

I held his hands saying,"Baby, your parents would be so proud of you, if they were here to see you today. I mean, look at you!! You've basically kept the entire city safe for years and kept your family's company from ceasing to exist. You really did both of those things without even blinking.     Look, Bruce, I know that many lives were lost because of what happened between Clark and Zod, but you saved so many by just stepping up to the plate and doing what you do best here, in Gotham and in Metropolis. You're amazing, Bruce."

Bruce smiled down at me and kissed me softly. I returned the kiss and held his face before I slowly pulled away and rushed off to get dressed. After I got dressed, I kissed Alfred's cheek and gave Bruce a kiss before I drove to Metropolis.
Once I made it to Mrs. Kent's house, I spotted Mrs. Kent trying to take two boxes into the house by herself. I immediately rushed over to her side and gently took the two boxes from her. She smiled and thanked me warmly before I took the boxes inside and unpacked them for Mrs. Kent.

Martha said,"Kia, that's not necessary, my dear. Trust me, this stuff is replaceable. There's always room for improvement."

I shook my head and looked Mrs. Kent in the eyes saying,"But you can't be replaced. Mrs. Kent, I get that things have been hard for you, but I know what that feels like. I do. I've lost people who were very important to me, too. Your son being one of them."

Mrs. Kent walked over to me and put her arms around my shoulders saying,"Come on. I need you to come with me to see my son."

Immediately, I nodded and followed Mrs. Kent to the Smallville Cemetery. Mrs. Kent led me over to Clark's grave, and I crouched down in front of it. She put her hand on my shoulder before I closed my eyes and said a long prayer. After I was done, I got up, and Mrs. Kent led me to another area.
She handed me flowers, and at first, I was confused, but I soon came to understand what she meant. I nodded in understanding before I drove to the Daily Planet. Once I got there, Perry let me inside, and I spotted Lois sitting at her desk. She was just sitting there, but she appeared to be deep in thought.

I smiled slightly and pushed her out of her chair yelling,"LANE!! EARTH TO LOIS LANE!!"

Lois groaned in pain, and I laughed at her. Lois smiled after before I helped her up and brushed off the dirt on her pants. Lois moved my hands and just hugged me. I hugged back and let her decide when to end the hug.

Lois stopped hugging me and sent me a smile saying,"Would you watch my desk for a second, Ki? I have to go show this to Perry. Be right back!!"

I nodded and sat down in Lois' chair. Lois walked off, and I made myself busy by looking through her files. I just happened to land on the one about the desert that Clark saved Lois in a while ago.

Someone placed their hand over the file and said,"Excuse me, ma'am?"

I looked up and saw... Clark. Clark Kent was standing right here. He was standing in front of me. No. No, he couldn't be here. I saw him get killed by Doomsday. Yes, I now knew that the thing's name was Doomsday.
How was this possible, though? This wasn't possible. Clark sent me a soft smile and hugged me. I didn't believe that it was really him until he hugged me.

  God, I missed Clark Kent.

  "Clark..."

Clark held me tighter before I started to sob into his suit.

Clark rubbed my back and said,"I'm not leaving you ever again, Kia. It's all right. You're not alone."

I shook my head and continued to clinge to Clark. Clark took out his phone and called someone. I didn't know who he talked to because I was too busy thinking that he'd die again. Clark motioned for me to look up, and I saw Bruce standing there.
Clark kissed my forehead before I walked over to Bruce and hugged his arm. Bruce rubbed my back and sent Clark a very weak smile. Clark smiled at Bruce, but Bruce looked down at me.

Clark said to me,"Kianna, there's nothing to worry about. I'm here now, and Bruce will always be here for you. I know it's a lot to take in, Kianna, but you'll be all right."

I nodded, and Bruce held out his hand for me to put mine in.

I put my hand in Bruce's hand before Bruce looked at Clark saying,"I'm going to take Kia home. We'll talk later, Clark. You have my word. Kia, tell Clark bye."

I sniffed saying,"Bye, Clark. You'll be here tomorrow, right?"

Clark's blue eyes filled with concern and worry, but he nodded and bowed to me.

A smile found its way to my face before Bruce joked saying,"Clark can get you to smile like that, but I can't. Kia, I'm hurt."

Clark chuckled, and I laughed weakly at Bruce's joke. Bruce smiled down at me and kissed me slowly. I kissed back and rested my hand on his face.

Bruce leaned into my touch and slowly let go saying,"I love you, Kia."

When I wasn't paying attention, Bruce grabbed my waist and threw me over his shoulder. I tried to get Bruce to put me down, but Bruce just chuckled and walked away from Clark.
Clark waved at me, and I waved back at him. Bruce carried me out to his car and helped me get into his car. I caught my breath before I just smiled and talked to Bruce during our long ride home.
