"Boys I have developed these very handy paint bombs. We have to hide them in the ceiling and when everyone is in the common room they will explode. These ones are yellow and black." I said handing Fred and George the bombs.
" Clever, Black, very clever." Both of them said and then began attaching them to the bombs to the ceiling and adding an invisibility charm to the casing.
" Okay now lets do Ravenclaw." I said excitedly as I lead them away from Hufflepuff Basement and towards the Ravenclaw Tower.
" So how do we get into a room when its door doesn't have a handle?" George asked. I ignored his comment and just hobbled over to the door and knocked on the bronze, eagle knocker. The knocker then lifted its head and began to speak.
" Which came first the phoenix or the flame?" It asked.
" A circle has no beginning." I replied confidently. It simply lowered its head and the door opened. I turned to the boys and smiled smugly at them and walked in, they looked slightly bewildered.
The Ravenclaw common room was very open and light. It was lined with book cases and decorated in the Ravenclaw colours, blue and bronze, whilst a marble statue of Rowena Ravenclaw stood in the corner by the stairs to the dormitories. As I admired the decoration of the room Fred and George got to work placing the bombs on the ceiling.
" I wish our common room was more like this." I said out loud.
" I think the Gryffindor common room's cosy. I like cosy." George commented.
" Well we're done." Fred said smiling.
" Okay Gryffindor next." I stated casually.
" What?!" The twins shouted.
" Well if we only do the other three houses it'll be obvious it was us. I mean who else could pull of something this brilliant!"
With that we made our way up to Gryffindor Tower.
" Hey this time Fred and I can show off our unique intelligence." George stated proudly.
" How so?" I asked sceptically.
" Well we know the password for this common room." Fred continued.
" Ha ha very funny boys."
We then approached the Fat Lady.
" Password," she asked.
" Caput Draconis." Fred and George said together.
" Well done boys." I told them and they both gave me matching smirks. We walked in and we were greeted by the warm and cosy Gryffindor common room. Decorated in red and gold with its comfy, lumpy, red sofas in front of the large, blazing fire. With the portrait of Valeria Myriadd, a previous Head of Gryffindor. After Fred and George finished hiding the red and gold paint bombs we joyfully made our way down to our favourite stop. Slytherin.
Once we reached the Slytherin Dungeon we stood in front of a wall and I said," Gryffindors are scum." And it began to open. " Those bloody snakes!"
" What?"
" That password was a complete guess and I was right! You would think they had some decency!" I exclaimed making Fred and George chuckle. Once we went into the Slytherin Dungeon it was very dark and cold. The exact opposite of Gryffindor Tower. It was green and silver with sleek black chairs with green throw cushions and a large stone fireplace was against a wall. A large stone snake was sculpted on the wall above it. Suddenly the room became pitch black and then suddenly light again. Fred, George and I all instantly looked up in curiosity. Wanting to find out what was causing the change in lighting. It happened again. We looked up to the windows and there it was. The giant squid. It was the squid that inhabited the Black Lake. Of course! The Slytherin Dungeon goes beneath the Black Lake.
