A Black And A Weasley.

Part 17

Once again I was a The Burrow with the Weasleys. I was waiting for Fred and George to come back with Mr. Weasley, Ron and Harry. They had all gone by Floo to collect Harry from the Dursleys. If only I could see how they responded to that. Suddenly there was a burst of laughter, I instantly recognised it as the twins. Both of them tumbled into the sitting room where I was sat reading Hairy Snout Human Heart and they both looked very pleased with themselves. " What have you two done now?" I giggled at them.

" We've just been sharing some sweets with Harry's cousin Dudley." George chuckled as he walked past me and gave me a peck on the lips before walking into the kitchen. Even though we'd been dating for just over a year his kisses still made me blush. I smiled down at my book but I looked up when I heard Fred snickering. I stuck my tongue out at him and went back to my reading. George came back into the sitting room with a letter in his hand. " This was in the kitchen. It's addressed to you Shauna." George handed me the letter. Indeed on the envelope it said Shauna Black I instantly recognised the handwriting as my childhood friend.

Dear Shauna,

I went by the cottage but Remus left a note on the door saying you were at the Weasley's. I'm writing to tell you about something but I don't really want to say. Surprises are always nice aren't they. All I'm going to say is that we will be meeting during the holidays. I look forward to seeing you!

Cedric Diggory. He's always been like a brother to me. We always run off to a nearby field during the evening to have some sort of flying/Quidditch practise. Him being a seeker and I a chaser of course. There were plenty of trees surrounding the field so we could play without being spotted by any Muggle children. I smiled down at the letter.

" Who's it from then?" George asked inquisitively.

" Oh, no one important." Suddenly Fred took the letter out of my hand.

" Why so secretive all of a sudden?"

" Give it back Fred!"

" Ced? Is this from Pretty Boy Diggory?" Fred asked with confusion written all over his face.

" The Hufflepuff captain?" George asked walking over to stand beside his twin.

" Yeah, the one that beat us in Quidditch last year." Fred said. Both twins now looked straight down at me.

" C'mon guys! You're still bitter about that?" They both shrugged their shoulders.

" What does the git want with my girlfriend anyway?" George asked looking over Fred's shoulder.

" He's just saying about meeting during the holidays but he doesn't say when." Fred told him.

" How do you know each other anyway?" George asked.

" You seem very interested in this subject George." I said. Before George could respond Fred butted in saying:

" That's because Georgie here is very prone to jealously Miss. Black." George instantly stamped on Fred's foot.

" To answer your question George, Cedric is like a brother to me. We've known each other since I was six." George seemed to look less tense after I said that. I stood up quickly pecking George's lips before the sound of more people coming through the fireplace. We ran into the kitchen to see Harry on the floor. Fred put his hand out to help him up and asked excitedly:

" Did he eat it?"

" Yeah, what was it?" Harry asked.

" Ton-Tongue Toffee." Fred replied proudly, " George and I invented them, we've been looking for someone to test them on al summer..." Harry then became acquainted with Charlie and Bill. He seemed in awe with them. Suddenly, Mr. Weasley appeared beside George.
