Killian's POV

"He hates me Emma!" I scream in the house.

"Killian come on its just on dinner." She says walking over to me.

"No its not just one dinner he looks at me like I am I psycho." I tell her.

"Killian please for me." She begs.

"Im sorry Swan, but no." I say and walk out of the house.

David's POV

"Cant you talk to him?" I heard Emma ask.

"Emma baby Im sorry, but your father is well you know your father." Snow says.

"What about her father?" I ask walking in.

"Killian doesnt want to come over for dinner." Snow says.

"So what. I could careless what that pirate wants." I tell her.

"Dad! Can you please be nice to him?" Emma asks.

"Im sorry Emma. I just dont see why you even trust a pirate he will only hurt you." I tell her.

"No he wont. I have been with guys who have hurt me I can spot a guy like that from miles away, but Killian is different. He is special." She tells me.

"He is also a pirate!" I say raising my voice.

"David!" Snow yells.

Emma just ran out and Snow followed her out.

Emma's POV

I went home and laid on my couch. My mom walked in and put her hand on my head.

"Its okay your dad is just trying to protect you." She says.

"He doesnt need to protect me especially from Killian." I tell her.

"I know that and you know that, but your father doesnt think Killian is right for his daughter, but I want you to know that if you love Killian dont let your father get in the way." She tells me.

"Emma? Oh hello Snow." Killian says.

"I'll leave you two to talk." She says and walks out.

"Im sorry about what I said its just after everything. You would think your father would treat me better. I guess to him Im a terrible person." He says to me.

"Oh no. Killian you not a bad guy. He just thinks its his job to protect me." I tell him.

"Emma its his job to make sure your okay." He says.

"No its his to except that no matter what I love you very much. Why cant he see that?" I ask him.

"Emma its okay really. The more he doesn like me the more your around me. I actually dont mind. I just dont like him looking at me like he is going to rip out my insides." He says.

"Yeah I guess that works." I say to him.

"I love you." He says and kisses me.

"I love you too." I tell him.

"Aww you two are so cute." My mom says.

"I thought you left." I say to her.

"Oh right. Bye." Sh says and walks out.
