Emma's POV

I was walking in the streets of Storybrooke hand in hand with Killian. When we saw Violet and Henry walking into the towns new Orphanage.

"Hey Im going to help Henry and Violet. Do you wanna go?" I ask Killian.

"Okay. Sure why not." He says.

We walked in and there were kids all over not very young their all like 5 or older. Most of them lost parents in the last curse.

"Emma, hey." Ashley Boyd says.

"Hey. We came to help." I say.

"Sure, you know I actually have to go somewhere. Henry and Violet will be with the others, but can you two take care of the only little one in the nursery." She says.

We walked into the nursery and there was a little girl maybe 1 and a half years old. She started crying and I picked her up.

"Shh your okay." I say.

"Wow love even though you didnt keep Henry you sure have a motherly instinct." Killian says.

After about an hour later she was asleep and Ashley walked in.

"Wow she takes forever to go down. Good job." Ashley says.

"What exactly happened to her family anyway?" I ask.

"Well all we know is that the merry men found her in the forest. We call her Hope." Ashley tells us.

After we left it felt like something was missing and I could tell Killian felt the same we talked for a week and decided that we wanted her. We talked to Ashley and it happened we adopted Hope.

"Emma hey." My mom says walking into the house.

"Hey." I say.

"So when we heard you adopted a child we didnt know what to think. But we love the idea so whats her name?" She asks.

"Hope Snow Jones." I tell her.

"Before Swan says she wanted your name in there. Its not true I did." Killian says from the kitchen.

"Shut it Killian." I say to him.

My mom laughed and took Hope and started to play with her. I loved this little girl and maybe one day we might have our own, but if we do we wont give her away. We love her so much.
