So I was waiting for my friend to put her stuff in her locker, when she looks at me and goes "do you have insomnia?" That actually didn't bother me, since I'd understand why she'd think that (I do stay up all night often). I replied with something along the lines of "no not clinically. I just stay up a lot." And then she said "I wish I could have insomnia then I could-"
At this point I had to cut her off. Because WHAT. You want to have insomnia. Think about what you are saying! That is not ok. I know from my bad habit of staying up often that not sleeping is not good for your body. You should not want something that makes you not be able to sleep and therefore not be able to function. I understand wanting more time in the day and not needing to sleep, but not being able to sleep is a totally different thing!
Sorry for this, but that comment just caught me soooo off guard I had to talk about it really quickly.
