It was Saturday and I was really nervous. I don't know why, I think it's because it's only my second date I would have been on.

My palms are really warm and for some reason I want to look the best for him. I want a different point of view from the night we met. I want him to think I've changed.

I can't help but want to impress him. I smiled as Layla came to look at me after I called her back in. She gasped as she walked in.

"You look absolutely beautiful. Wow. Where did you find that?" I shrugged my shoulders.

"I've had it stuffed in my wardrobe for so long, I thought it looked quite nice and makes my arse look really nice." We laughed, my nerves calming down a little bit.

"Well you've got around three quarters of an hour, so let me sort out your hair for you." I rolled my eyes. This was the deal we had. I choose what I would be wearing if she could do my hair and choose my shoes. I agreed and I found out she's picked me some sandals.

I got to thinking, no wonder I have no food in, I spend all my money on stupid dresses and heels that I'm probably not going to wear for a while now, unless I'm going out on a special occasion.

I was too focused in my thoughts that I had to be brought out of a trance when I was told there was a knock at the door.

I gasped and got a bit panicky checking over everything as Lays went down to open the door. I nodded. I'm ready.

I walked out the door to hear his laughter booming through the house, it put a smile on my face to hear that he was here.

I walked down the stairs, making sure I didn't fall, blushing as I saw he stood up when he realised I was coming down. I was wearing a nice simple dress, and I had some brown Sandals on I locked eyes with Kaiden, who looked at me whilst biting his lip.

I grinned when I got to the bottom and stopped in front of him. "You look absolutely stunning." He didn't let me speak before he blurted it out. My cheeks warmed up as I moved a strand of hair that dropped down to my face and tucked it behind my ear.

He locked hands with me. "I'll see you soon Layla," He said his goodbyes to her. "Please don't forget to lock up the house, thank you!" She said bye and shoved us both out of the door. I giggled and walked with him to his car.

"I bet your glad you said yes to a date now aren't you?" I rolled my eyes at his cocky smirk.

"It depends on what you've got in store for us because I know it's got something to do with water as you asked me to wear a bikini under my clothes." I smiled and looked over to him as he pulled up at some place.

It was deserted as he got out and walked around to open the door for me. I took his hand that pulled me out and thanked him when I stood.

We walked and talked. "So what's your favourite colour?" I asked.

"Well I guess it would be a light blue." I smiled as I realised it was the same colour as my eyes. "What's yours?"

"Well I'd say it's a deep green." He nodded and bit his lip. It's weird because he has green eyes and I have blue eyes. We've got our favourite colours set as each other's eye colour. No I wouldn't be that cheesy, it's always been my favourite colour.

"Favourite animal?" He asked. "Well it's got to be a dog or a wolf type. Like huskies. They're so gorgeous! Especially the greyish ones with adorable blue eyes!" I gushed about the stunning creations of a dog.

He grinned, almost as if he was happy with my answer. "I could say the exact same, except i'd prefer German shepherds." I shrugged. "They're both cute animals, I don't mind either way."

He smiled and wrapped an arm around my shoulder. We walked further until we got to the sand. I gasped. "If this is what I think it is I'm going to cry." I took off my sandals as he laughed.

"Please don't cry this is supposed to be a happy moment." I dragged him across the sand quickly to open up a beach. And it was empty.

I gasped and covered my face with my hands, dropping my sandals I jumped up to Kaiden, wrapping my arms around his neck. "Thank you! Thank you, thank you!" I then turned around and grabbed his hand running towards the water.

The best thing about the beach too was the fact that the tide hadn't come in. I don't think it did. I grinned at him and ran into the water, splashing him, laughing.

As the night went on we laughed, splashed, found out a lot more about each other even unexpected things like most embarrassing moments.

I didn't realise that he'd brought a blanket and a basket out with him. How am I so ditsy enough to not see that?!

I moaned when I smelt his cooking in the basket. "I swear I could live off of your cooking. It's so good. How did you learn?"

He smiled and looked up at me, telling me the story of him wanting to cook for his future wife and how his mum taught him everything he knew.

"Well I'd like to meet this wonderful woman you call mother and get some tips off her myself. I can't live off of your cooking and my omelettes for the rest of my life." I giggled where as he looked serious.

"Whenever you want me to cook for you I'll be there you know." My eyebrows furrowed but when he said it it sounded like it came joint with a different meaning.

I smiled and pecked him on the cheek, "Thank you."

It was quiet when we were just gazing out into the sea. "Its the most beautiful thing I've ever seen." I said pulling my knees up to my chest and looking out at the waves go up and down and how the moon reflected on the deep blue sea.

"Damn right is." I looked over at him to see him looking up at me. I smiled and moved the basket over, putting the rest of the left overs inside. I cuddled up into his side and stared out at the sea.

"Thank you for tonight." I smiled, closing my eyes, tiredly. I was wet, cold and full. His warmth was radiating off of his body so I tried getting closer to him.

"How are you always warm?" I smiled slightly, asking him. "Your like a human radiator." I giggled and drew patterns on his chest, since I was facing it.

"It's natural that I'm this hot." I looked up at him in disbelief. "Gosh. Your ego is too big." He twisted us and climbed on top of me.

"I was joking." He said putting his head into my neck but keeping some of his body weight off of me. "Was you though?"

"Hmm, no." We both laughed and stayed for a while longer before we walked back to the car because it was getting to cold, even for the radiator lying on top of me.
