The alpha

Chapter 6.

Kaiden

I woke up to something small and warm cuddled up to my front, I looked down and smiled when I realized Olivia was still here.

I felt her tense when I pulled her impossibly closer to me. A small moan fell from her mouth as I ran my hands down her back, lifting her shirt up a little bit.

I looked over at the clock and saw it was half 6. I sighed as she stirred and then her heart beat sped up. I knew she was awake. "Morning sleeping beauty." I chuckled.

"Morning Kaiden." She mumbled, rubbing her eyes. She looked so adorable. She sat up and stretched. I made sure to chance a look at her the lace underwear she was wearing and saw how it went beautifully with her tanned skin.

She was absolutely gorgeous I don't think I could ever get enough. I smiled at her and kissed her cheek.

She stood up and I put my arms under my head looking at her when she walked. "Where are you going?" She stopped at the door and looked over at me.

"To the shower, want to join me?" She grinned mischievously. I bit my lip and shot up quickly, walking behind her to the bathroom. God, this woman's going to be the death of me.

After an eventful shower we both got ready, I had more extra clothes in my car that I had brought out the night before, obviously because I shift a lot, I'm going to need extra clothes.

I don't really know when I'm going to tell Liv that I'm part wolf. I know when I do tell her she'll probably laugh and think I'm crazy, Layla did when she found out about George but she accepted him after a lot of talking and explaining.

I sighed as I walked downstairs, after I'd got changed, to Liv being all ready, her hair was already dry and up in a messy bun. She had some black jeans and a white v-neck top that showed off her curves.

She was cooking something. I walked over to her. "I hope you like omelettes. I need to go shopping tomorrow, when I get paid. I need some more food so I'm sorry that it's not much." She blushed a little bit, almost as if she was embarrassed.

She had the same look on her face that she had when she first saw my house. Almost as if she was downgrading herself. My house was most of the time used for training and people from the pack that came over from towns across America, otherwise I would have owned a house the same size of Liv's.

I lifted up her chin as she was looking down at her socked feet. "Hey, don't worry about it. Omelettes will be fine."

She smiled and blushed a little bit more and got two plates out of the bottom cupboard and then two glasses. "What drink would you like, I have orange juice, apple juice, um yeah just stuff in the fridge."

I looked at her variety of drinks and chose the orange juice. "I think I'll have the same." She brought the carton out and poured us both one and then put the juice back.

She made us both an omelette and we sat at the kitchen table as we ate them.

"So where am I dropping you off first?"

The drive wasn't that long since it was around 15 minutes away when I drove. But we got to know a little bit more about what we worked as. I told her that I was a very hard working business man.

I told her that I worked for a business that helped people find homes and if they wanted to buy a building, etc. I had to think of a well paid job.

Of course it was a lie and I couldn't exactly turn around and say "Oh yeah, I work as an alpha to a pack of werewolves. Oh and by the way your my mate so let's live happily together forever and I'll take care of you." Yeah that wouldn't go down well.

"Well thank you for the ride, I guess I'll see you at 2:00 then?" She smiled and gave me a kiss on the cheek and stepped out of the car waving.

"See you at 2." I sighed as I drove off, back to my house. It's lucky I grabbed her keys off of the side so I can get her car back later.

I parked my car as I went through the gates to my front garden. I got out the car and locked it. Going through my front door I was greeted by Layla, George, Taylor and Sam.

George is my beta, Layla is the female beta whilst Sam is my third in command and Taylor is his mate. These four are the ones I mostly trust to keep close to me.

"Alpha, your parents are coming In 2 months, he called the house but he said he got no answer. I received a call from him this morning at 8. I think he left a voice-mail anyway but he asked me to inform you of his visit, he was going to come in two weeks but something came up with your mother."

I sighed and nodded. "Thank you for that information." I nodded to dismiss them back on their work but Layla stayed there.

"So did you drop Liv off at work?" She crossed her arms and smirked. I laughed and nodded "Of course I did."

She giggled and shook her head. "She likes you you know, but you've just got to work for it. You have got to really show her that you love her and you'd do anything for her. She's been hurt before and she didn't want to take a risk but she's trying." I sighed and nodded.

"You know I'll never hurt her intentionally. I don't know how long it's going to take though until I need to tell her so she can accept both me and my wolf." She smiled sadly. "Thank you for being there for her too."

"I'd do it all again, if I had to." I nodded and dismissed her as she went back to being with George and working on her Alliance sheets that they will read over and pass to me if they think the deal is best for the family.

I walked to my office and kept my phone out on my desk. I made a few phone calls to other alphas and made a phone call with my father.

Me: Hello father, I heard that you called last night. Sorry I couldn't be there to accept the phone call.

Father: Hello son, no problem. I heard you was busy with your mate? Well as you know me and your mother are coming down in two months for the barbecue  and I'd like to meet her.

Me: Well you see, she's kind of human.

Father: A human?! As an alpha mate?!

Me: She's suitable for the role father, she just doesn't know about us. She's gorgeous and strong I know she'd be the best Luna. Although she's not a werewolf she would still put in the same amount of effort and love for the pack.

Father: *sigh* I see well, we still want to meet her and see if what you're saying is true but you will have to inform me if you have told her about us then.

Me: Yes, I will do father. I will see you in two months.

Father: Bye, son.

I sighed running my hand through my hair as I checked the time. Wow, it was already half 1. I better go and pick up my beautiful mate, so I can take her for some lunch.
