The alpha

Chapter 22.

Kaiden

I growled angrily as I reached to where the end of her scent was. She was in danger. I could feel it.

I grabbed my phone and called up Layla, she could know.

"Hello, Alpha? What can I do for you?"

"Where is she? Do you know? When was the last time you spoke to her?"

"Um what do you mean Kaiden? Where's my best friend." I sighed and shook my head. There's no way she knew where she is.

"I'll speak to you later Layla." I hung up and mind linked everyone of the higher ranks.

"Meeting, now!" I raced back to the house straight away.

Nobody takes something of mine and gets away with it.

"So do you have any idea of where she could be, Alpha?" I growled at the boy.

"Don't you think if I knew that, I'd be there by now?!" I shouted and snarled at him as he shrunk back in his seat.

"We need to find her! We need the top fighters and best trackers up here, straight away. We're going to find her, if it's the last thing-"

A call from the phone interrupted me. I picked it up quickly. "What?!" I shouted.

"Woah woah, hey. What's got your panties in a bunch? Ahh wait. I know, it's your precious Luna and the fact that she doesn't want you anymore. Say hi to Olivia." I heard a scream through the phone.

"Kaiden! Please don't come! You'll get hurt." I heard a slap echo and I gripped the table, it slightly cracking in my hands.

"Shut up you stupid bitch." I heard her whimper and I growled ferociously.

"Don't put your filthy hands on her Xavier." He chuckled.

"What? It's not like it hasn't happened before. Did I forgot to tell you that the ex-girlfriend of mine that was a total bitch is here right now? Or was that unclear? I don't think I remember telling you how good it was that she screamed and squirmed under me as I took her, holding her small little body down. Obviously it was forcefully. Well a few times it was anyway."

I growled and slammed my hands onto the desk. "Tell me where she is now! I'll kill you when I get my hands on you!"

He laughed sinisterly. "That would be too easy now, wouldn't it brother?"

I heard her scream again. "No please! Don't!" I looked up at the table and there was already a guy scanning the phone number on a computer to find out where they are.

I heard her scream in pain again and the phone was put down.

"Shit. We just got it in time." He turned the computer to me. "324 acre street. You know where that is alpha?" I nodded.

"My old family home." They looked at me with sympathy. The whole of my pack knew why the old alpha and Luna stepped down and let me take the lead. Because we had that many family problems it was too much to handle for them. The big scar on my mums face, although she still looks beautiful, was visible.

My dad and Xavier were fighting and she got in the way. Xavier had scratched mum on the face and dad had never got over it. He vanished Xavier from pack grounds and he'd never been seen again, until now.

I don't understand how he'd got over here. We had top security and guards and we even had three weres at a patrol station every three hours.

"Let's go. Gather up the best fighters now." I mind linked everyone in the pack together and called a pack meeting at the arena we own down the road.

No one responded but I knew they were all making their way there.

"Okay, okay! Settle down please!" Everyone looked confused as to what was happening and why only the alpha was stood at the top on the stage.

"The Luna has been abducted, by my brother Xavier. We have their whereabouts but I wanted to have a pack meeting before we took action. I know you've al had training but I also know Xavier is smart. I know we need a plan." An uproar of chatter came about and as I put my hand up everyone quietened down again.

"I need to know right now. Any men who are willing to fight for their Luna step forward please." Many walked forward and hugged and kissed their mates goodbye.

"We are going after the Luna tonight, we'll all know the plan, we'll be prepared and we'll get the Luna back!" Loud shouts went around of courage.

"We will fight for our Luna, our pack and our family!" I shouted. "Who's with me?" Everyone started shouting and screaming chants.

We have all been running for an hour to reach the place where my precious mate is. I can feel a small amount of pain that they're putting her in and it's making me furious.

We get to the warehouse where she's being held and I break straight through the door, tearing the few guards apart and running straight past their bodies.

George and Liam were right behind me growling at and attacking anyone who got in my way, since they were in wolf form and I was in human.

I listened closely and heard Liv's cries as she shouted stop. I growled loudly and ran in that direction. I burst through the door and saw Xavier on top of her.

I ran over and threw him off of her, standing in front of her I growled loudly at him.

"Ah brother. You came, did you want to see a show? We were just about to do one then." I growled.

I shifted and ran for him. I wasn't leaving place until Xavier is dead.
