Chapter 16.

Kaiden

Olivia had handed in her resignation the next day and I was more than happy to spend more time with her.

We were alone in the house, everyone had gone a few days ago. There was one thing I didn't tell her and that was the mating process.

I was going to tell her tonight at dinner but she wasn't very happy with me for the moment.

"Hey babe, I made us some dinner, do you want to come down for it?" I said, knocking at her door and walking in.

"Yes, give me a minute." She said as she stood up quickly and stumbled, I was quick to go over to her and steady her.

"What's wrong?" She shook her head. "I'm just not feeling too well, can I pass dinner?" She asked looking up at me innocently.

"No your not getting out of dinner for another night." She didn't eat last night too because she 'didn't feel well' either.

She sighed and angrily rolled her eyes walking downstairs. She was already sat down by the time I got in the dining room.

I stared at her as she was picking at her food. "You have a question." I stated as her head shot up, eyes widened a little bit. "Shoot."

"W-Why did humans never know about werewolves? I mean if they aren't any harm then why don't we get told." I sighed.

"It's not that easy. There are hunters out there, they can be anywhere we've just got to be careful." She furrowed her eyebrows.

"Hunters?" She asked, putting a chip in her mouth. I smiled slightly at the effort and replied, "Yes hunters, some humans and werewolves have never seen eye to eye. I'm not going to go much into detail but all you need to know is nobody can know outside of the pack, okay?" She nodded quickly.

"What's the advantages in being a werewolf?" She asked curiously munching on another chip.

I smiled brightly thinking about it. "Well, your speed is heightened, when you shift you run faster than in human form. Your smell is heightened, I smelt you before I saw you in the club and I knew that I had to come get you as soon as our eyes locked," She smiled at me and nodded for me to carry on, "Our hearing let's us hear things that are far away or upcoming towards us. It's amazing Liv, the breeze going through your fur as your running. The playful racing. The only bad thing about it would be, when you shift you have to take your clothes off otherwise you too them."

She giggled and I smiled at her. "Although all them things are amazing, the best thing about being a werewolf is finding your mate, the one to complete you." I kept eye contact with her so she knew I meant every word.

She smiled shyly and looked down at the table eating more of her pasta. "My mums Italian. She loves pasta." She kept her eyes on her plate but mine were always on her.

"You learnt from the best huh?" I smiled and nodded. "Definitely."

"My mum taught me too, I'm a bit rusty now but the dishes were gorgeous."

"That reminds me, we never spoke about your family did we?" I looked over at her curiously as she put her fork down.

"They- my family are travelling around. They like to travel a lot and I don't know when they'll be back to be honest, they've been gone for years." I sighed, she was lying. The way her hands went under the table as she fidgeted with them, I could tell she was lying.

I nodded, not wanting to bring them up again, she'll talk about them when she's ready.

Her plate was nearly empty until she pushed it away. "I'm so full." She groaned as she put her head back.

I chuckled at her, "Well babe, that's my cooking for you. You always used to have it and couldn't resist." She giggled and blushed.

"Like I couldn't resist something else huh?" She asked winking at me and biting her lip. Fuck, I cleared my throat as I covered my tight part in my sweats.

"Have you missed me?" I grunted as she leaned over the table so I could see all the way through her top. She walked over to me and sat on my lap.

"I've missed what you do in bed especially." I grinned up at her as I grabbed her arse and pulled her impossibly close to her. She gasped and leaned up a little before connecting our lips.

I started to pull down her leggings which outline her arse perfectly. I moaned as she moved herself on top of me.

"Do you want more?" She whispered seductively in my ear. I groaned and bucked my hips up making her bounce a little.

I nodded and she smirked stopping her movements and getting up off me. "Sorry, you will have to do more than a meal after today." She smirked and then walked away not looking back at me.

She started deliberately moving her hips walking slow, her bottoms were already off so I saw her arse. She lifted her hair up slightly so I saw the bottom of her back and the slight curve of her hip.

I growled slightly as she walked up the stairs. I followed her after a few minutes trying to control my wolf, he was very frustrated that his mate had just teased him. He loved it but hated it at the same time.

I walked upstairs and into my bedroom trying to calm myself down. I grabbed the sides of my desk and clenched my fists, whilst holding it.

I put my head down slightly, my wolf was itching to come up in human form and take control.

I sighed and ran my hands through my hair. I realised then that I hadn't told her about the mating process.

She's going to drive me and my wolf crazy, I knew from the start, but tonight she had confirmed how.
