The sunset is now resting on the water line and is being reflected on top of the water. The waves crash onto the shore and I can't help but continue looking at the beautiful view in front of me. Walking on the beach is so fun during sunsets. I find it one of the most beautiful views to ever experience in a person's life. Luckily, there's is no one at the beach but only a short amount of people here. Then again, it is six in the afternoon. Angel places his hands in his pockets and he looks nervous. Angel? Nervous? I've never seen anything like this happen like guys like him.
"So..." I trail off.
"So," He repeats after me.
"What did you want to talk to me about?" I finally blurt.
He looks down at his feet before answering. "I just...wanted to, you know," He trails off and I begin to turn around to walk away from him until I immediately feel his hand wrap around my arm. "Wait, I'm sorry, I don't even know what to say." He breathes. "I just want to tell you that I miss you, Sky."
His words manage to make me have butterflies in my stomach but they quickly vanish.
I open my mouth to begin talking but he talks again before I can even get the chance.
"Please, Sky. I know I messed up but I was just so mad that night that I got drunk, but I promise you I didn't sleep with anyone." His eyes are pleading and I nearly give in but I hesitate. That's the problem with me; when I think too much, I just hesitate. Then again, I could give him another chance. I know that this was a one time thing, but he only got drunk. Does he really mean that he didn't hook up with any girls that night? Is he telling the truth? Should I just forgive him? So many possibilities jumbled up in my head and I push them back before I can be able to speak.
"Angel," I begin. I don't even know what to say. "I will give you a second chance."
"Really?" He asks, clearly surprised.
"Yes, because I should just give you a chance, but you can't just get drunk when you're mad at me. I only chose to not go to the party." I say to him.
"I know, baby. I know. I will make it up to you." He pulls me to his chest.
"But, on one condition." I point my index finger to him.
"What's that?" He arches his brow.
"If I say no, you are staying with me. I'm only referring to parties. Unless, if it were an emergency." I tell him and he nods in agreement.
"Deal."
"I mean it, don't get mad and run off getting drunk." I warn him and he presses his lips against mine.
I miss his lips against my own. He pulls me against chest, closer to his body and I take this on cue for wrapping my arms around his neck as for him, looping his arms around my waist. He picks me up from the ground and twirls us around. I smile into the kiss and pull away to look at his beautiful brown eyes.
"I have to tell my dad about us eventually, you know." I sigh, putting my head on his shoulder.
"I know, you can tell him whenever you want to. Besides, my mom already knows about us." I loosen my arms to get a good look at him.
"What?" I am taken aback, well this is new.
"Yeah, but I told her when we were dating before my incident." He rubs his hand against my back and it feels amazing.
"Oh."
"But we're together now and she wants to meet you." He tells me. I am completely speechless, I have no words coming out of my mouth and I have no idea what to say. Angel's mom. She wants to meet me? This is all so new to me. I have never experienced anything like this before. This is a good thing, right?
