After spending the rest of the evening with Angel at his house, it was a little bit difficult since we both didn't want to get out of bed. We preferred more to stay naked all night next to each other, but we knew we couldn't. I had to get home anyway since my curfew was almost over. Otherwise, I would have gotten a big lecture from my father that I would not have look forward to at all. By the time I get back home, I spot my dad in the kitchen eating some cheesecake Betty had made the other day. He greets me with a smile and kiss on the cheek. He asks me how my day was today at school and all as we chat for a few minutes before I walk up the stairs.
Surprisingly, Betty wasn't at the house until my father had said she was working in late tonight. She's usually always here but I don't mind her company. I know she is always taking care of my dad.
"Don't forget to take your pills!" I yell over to my dad as I reached midway into the stairs.
"I won't!" He responds smiling up at me that I quickly returned before making it upstairs. By the time I make it to my room, I instantly grab a pair of my pajamas and head into the shower. I bathe all over my body, along with shaving my legs and all until I finally got out. I wrap my towel around my soaked body and dry myself up. I place each leg at a time into my loose grey sweatpants along with a black tank top. I brush my soaked hair and brush my teeth before heading into my room.
Once I reached my room, I flop onto my bed and grab my phone off my dresser. I decided I should call Anna and tell her what has been going on; since I told her I would later. I scroll down through my contacts until I find her name and wait for her to answer the phone. The emoji of a banana I have right by her name always ends up having me smile like a goof. Anna Banana. She answers after a few rings go by.
"Hey girl!" Anna yelps through the line before I can even say hello.
"Hey, what's up?" I ask her. I bring my phone up to my shoulder, holding it up against my ear as I make my bed.
"Nothing much, getting ready for bed. You?"
"Same here," I chuckle. We bicker back and forth about some assignments until I tell her about the news. "So, I need to tell you about the whole Aubree thing..."
"Oh yeah, what's up with that?" She questions and I begin to tell her my first impression of her when she dropped my books off from my hands. Including with the threat she gave me that same day, too.
"Wow... she's insane. I can't believe her!" Anna exclaims after I finish speaking. "I knew she always had a weird obsession over Angel, but I didn't think it'd be this weird."
"Exactly. And it's still crazy to think that she doesn't necessarily believe that me and Angel are actually dating." I sigh in thought as I rub my temples in frustration.
"It's okay, Sky. Don't let her get to you. She's irrelevant and you have me and Angel by your side, okay?" She assures me.
"Yeah, I really appreciate it. Thanks, Anna." My lips pull into a smile plastered on my face.
"Anytime. I'm gonna get some rest now but I'll see you tomorrow." She says and with that, we both say goodnight and hang up the phone.
I text Angel and wish him a good night before charging my phone and placing it on my bed dresser. I then turn on my TV and set it up for thirty minutes to turn off by itself. Within a few minutes, sleep finally comes to me as I snuggle into my warm, comfortable blankets, wishing I had that one person holding me in my sleep right now.

During this dreadful week, I was finally glad that it was Friday and I couldn't be more relieved. Angel and I walked together into our first period class and began working. We didn't give much attention lately in class since we would always get compliments from people on how cute we looked together, but it was most of the girls who said it. All I knew was that deep down, when girls say those type of things, they really find the boy cute. I'm not stupid. I roll my eyes when I caught a few glances at some girls practically drooling over Angel's beautiful figure. I don't blame them, but they need to stop before I get aggravated.
Angel did looked adorable at the moment. I noticed that I was writing down some side notes on my composition notebook while Angel had a tube glass of sodium and potassium, prepared to place it into the experiment that the class was assigned to work on. He had his goggles on, an apron and some gloves on. He looked so cute and almost nerdy that I couldn't stop the giggle that left my mouth. He notices and glances up at me with a small smile.
"Sky, please don't distract me. I'm focusing." Angel whispers to me with a chuckle and I can't help giggle more at the amusement.
"I'm not, I swear." I throw my hands up in defense. "You're doing a good job." I place one of my hands on my cheek as I stared up at him with another smile. I couldn't stop my blushing.
"Mhmm," he says under his breath before focusing back on the glass tubes, pouring the different substances into a separated glass bottle. Out of the corner of my eye, another girl walks by our table with a sly smirk plastered on her lips as she, too, was staring down Angel. My God, I can't stand this crap. Without thinking, I softly bring my hand up to Angel's chin, forcing him to look at me as I press my lips against his own gently. Luckily, he was already done on what he was doing and had removed his goggles before I kissed him.
We lingered there for a few seconds before he pulls back.
"What was that for?" He asks me.
"Nothing," I shrug and focused back on taking some notes. Seconds go by with silence between us until he looks around the room and back at me.
"Ohh... I get it now," He chuckles at the thought and shakes his head.
"What?" I ask him.
"Nothing," he brushes me off, even though his smile is still plastered on his face in amusement.
"Angel..."
"Skylar." He mocks me, meeting my gaze and I can't help but break into a smile.
"Fine, you got me." I press shoulder against his in a slight bump.
"Don't I always?" He asks before placing a kiss onto my forehead. I scoot closer and lean my head on his shoulder, nuzzling into him.
"I won't argue with you there," I chuckle lightly. By the time class ends, he walks me to my second and I have to admit, today it's as bad as I hoped it would. It better stay like this for the rest of the day. I'm not looking forward to any of Aubree's bullshit she has against me and Angel.
"You wanna eat lunch together later or skip school?" Angel asks me by the time we make it to the front door of my second period.
"Ehh, I don't know. I think I'll just eat with Anna and catch up on my assignments from her." I suggest and he agrees with a nod before giving me a peck on my lips.
"Okay, I'll see you later. Text me if you need anything," he mumbles against my lips, not breaking the contact apart.
"Mhmm," I say back and we linger there for a few seconds, our kiss slow but passionate at the same time. He grabs my hands with his and intertwines mine with his, not wanting to let me go. I couldn't help but smile at his playful mood before he finally pulls his grasp away from mine and walks away to class. I sigh heavily and walk into my class.
