After yesterday with Angel opening up to me about his and Aubree's past, I can't help but feel more better as the hours go by. Luckily, we still managed to text the rest of the evening yesterday after he had to leave when my dad and Betty got back home from shopping. It's Monday morning and I wake up to the sound of my alarm going off. I groan and press snooze for five minutes before getting out of bed.

I take a quick shower, not washing my hair since it was already blow dried from yesterday. I put on a white dress shirt with some black leggings along with my white vans. I apply some mascara onto my eye lashes and lip gloss before grabbing my phone and my bag.

"Would you like me to take you to school?" Betty asks me when I reach the bottom of the stairs. She is in the kitchen with a cup of coffee in her hands.

"Sure, that's fine. I don't mind." I say with a smile as I open up the pantry door to get myself a granola bar.

"Your father had trouble sleeping last night but I was able to let him take his medication since he didn't want to," Betty chuckles at the thought. She is so sweet and caring.

"I'm just glad he's getting well soon. I appreciate everything you do for him." I thank her and I take a bite from my granola bar before she speaks.

"My pleasure. I'm always here to help." She nods and takes a sip from her coffee. I text Angel to let him know that Betty will be taking me to school.

He texts me back within a few seconds. *Okay, I will meet you in the courtyard.*

Few minutes go by as we continue talking about the weather and the news until we finally left the house and head into her car. Betty drops me off at the front of the school and waves me goodbye by the time I get out of the car. I thank her again and walk up to the doors to go find my amazing boyfriend.

"Anything new with you and Blu?" I smirk at Anna and can't help myself but laugh at how much that rhymed.

"Yes, we've been texting and getting to know each other so much since we met!" She squeals. Her phone goes off, I'm assuming a text message until she pulls it out of her pocket and waves the phone directly at my face. "See. He just sent me a good morning text."

"I'm happy for you." I tell her in all honesty. It's so great to want what is best for your friends to make them happy. Ever since I came to this school, Anna and I hit off pretty well and is really one of my closest friends since I left my old hometown. More like my best friend aside from Blu.

"Thanks. So, got any plans this week?" Anna asks me as we make our way to my locker. We had just came back from second period, heading into third.

"Nope, not really. But I will let you know." I place my books into my locker and bring out the ones I needed for next period. Anna gets another notification from her phone and immediately gasps, practically freaking me out for a second.

"What? What is it?" I ask frantically.

"Blu just asked me out on a date! Wait, what if this weekend we all go on a double date?" Anna suggests and the thought makes me think for a second.

"Uhh, I don't know..." I respond, placing my hand on the back of my neck rubbing it in thought. I don't think Angel likes those kind of things going on double dates. Yeah, we had one before cause it's more romantic, but second dates? I'm not too sure. It'd be up to him. I'm always down for anything.
