Sky's POV.
"My dad is out with a friend now so I am home alone. I don't know when he will be back." I tell Angel when he starts his car. He doesn't say anything, he just nods and puts up the air conditioner.
"I made the reservation," He smiles, shifting his eyes from the road and to my face.
"Why are you being so romantic?" I giggle.
"Because I am Mr. Romantic and I love you," He touches my thigh and grips it lightly. Luckily, his eyes went back on the road and I couldn't help but cringe.
I love you. I don't know how I should start that conversation over dinner. Maybe I shouldn't? I shake my head and look out through the windshield. I just know that it is too soon to say that at the moment. We just got back together less then forty-eight hours ago!
"Sky?" Angel voice makes my thoughts disappear and I shake my head.
"Yeah?"
"Are you ready? We're here." He states and I look around and noticed he just parked in the parking lot. We were now in front of Olive Garden.
"Oh." I say and he opens his door and walks over to my side to open mine for me. I begin to blush at his kind gesture.
We walk up to the banquet and Angel gives the brunette his name. She walks over to a booth in the back for us. Angel and I talked over on what we should eat.
On cue, a blonde waitress walks up to our table and asks for our drinks. Why is everyone here a woman? I noticed because every woman in this room wouldn't keep his eyes off of him and I tried my best to not burst out and make a fool of myself. These women have men with them and I noticed rings on their fingers, so why bother looking at my damn boyfriend? Relax, Sky. Damn. She kept on staring at Angel the whole entire time when I ask for a coke. Repeatedly.
"Sorry," She murmurs and Angel asks for the same thing as me. She smiles at Angel and walks away, not even giving me one either.
I couldn't help my jealousy taking over. Angel is very attractive and gets that kind've attraction to woman.
Stupid little...
"How's your dad?" Angel asks me, pulling me out from my thoughts.
"He's good, actually. He's with this lovely woman named Betty and I think she adores him. She visits nowadays to see how he is doing." I can't help the smile on my face.
"You don't mind at all having her at your place?" The waitress comes back with our drinks and Angel tells her to give us a few minutes to order. She nods and walks away, not even bothering looking at us. That is what I thought.
"No, not all." I drink my water. "Her company is really welcoming and she is very nice."
"That's great." He says and my smile reaches from ear to ear.
I should just ask him what he can tell me about himself. It's now or never.
"So, I noticed we never talked about our ourselves." I tell him, and he nods, encouraging me to continue. "Tell me about you. What was it like in your childhood?"
"Oh, well, um... There's not much to talk about. I had a good normal life, I guess you can say. My mom had me when she was sixteen and she married my dad after she dropped high school." He frowns at the thought and it takes us two minutes to order our food before he continues his story. "My mom gave birth to me when she recently turned eighteen that year. It was really hard for her through it all, you know? She had to drop school because of me. Her parents kicked her out of the house so she had to stay over at one of her friend's house after a year. My dad didn't care, he didn't do anything. My parents had a few complications when he found out he was my father. She convinced him to drop school for her but he would always throw a fit until he finally did before graduating and married her afterwards."
