The Five

Chapter 4

Bianca POV
I woke up in my bed. What happened flooded back to me.

Jessica beat me...again. Father won't be pleased. I got up and took a shower, washing the defeat off. When I got out I changed into my clothes and dried my jet black hair. I picked up my twin daggers that were resting on a cushion on my dresser (Picture above). Then I headed down to the training room. It was empty thank god.

The training room is a huge room that has the training simulator, multiple moving targets, and holograms. It was specially made for all of me and Jessica's training needs. The simulator is used for practice in different landscapes. It was for survival skills and fighting. The holograms are set to randomly turn on when someone is in the room. We've lost a few maids when father wanted to test it out and didn't tell them. These holograms are people with different weapons and if their weapons touch us then we get a very strong electric shock. If they touch us they're deactivated. The other way to deactivate them is to touch a weapon to their stomachs. The holograms took me and Jessica by surprise too. She managed to defeat them and figure them out while I got knocked out taking out my first one. The holograms are also in the simulator.

I stepped into the simulator and it scanned me.

"Welcome back Bianca." The electric voice said,"Which landscape do you want to do today?"

"Random please." I said and got into my fighting position.

"Very well. Commencing landscape. Location: Random." The voice said as the landscape appeared around me.

I tapped on the expert combat mode and the simulation began. I was in a desert. The sand dunes surrounded me and the winds brought up sand that got in my eyes. For the second I turned away I was surrounded. There were 3 men and 2 woman around me with all sorts of weapons. I brought my first dagger up and threw it into one of the men's stomach and he disappeared. While the dagger was flying I kicked behind me and took out one of the women. Then the other woman came at me but I quickly threw my other dagger at her. Suddenly I felt a shock and I was down. I got up slowly, with every limb hurting, to find the landscape gone and the playback starting. Apparently one of the other guys came up behind me while I was taking out that woman.

Great.

I stepped out of the simulator to find my father sitting on his throne.

"That was disgraceful." He said glaring,"How are you supposed to compete in the Fight like that?"

"I'll do better Father." I said hanging my head in shame.

"You better. I went through a lot of work to get you in. Don't mess up." He said getting up and walking away.

I got back in the simulator to keep practicing.

I'm going to win this Fight.

Hi everyone! Sorry I took a while to update I've been really busy with school. Anyway what did you think of the surprise new member of the team? This chapter was a little short because it's the last character on the team. In the next chapters, it begins.
