"But.. I want to race with her" he looked at me as my eyes widen at the sentence, followed by everyone

"I'm coming here as a manager of honan stride club, not as a runner" I reasoned

"Is fujiwara not enough for you?" I asked him

"Well, fujiwara is the most person that I want to run with. But I don't know where and when I can run with you, so why not now?" He smiled like there's no end

"Or.. You scared like that time?" He provoked me, making me pissed off

"You! Don't you dare bring the past!" I pulled his collar

"Oi oi" the other tried to separated us

"You saying that, but aren't you that bound to that past. It's not like she's died" right now, he's really pissed me off

"Tch. Fine I'll race with you. If I win, don't you dare say something like that again" finally I released my grip on his collar and calm down

"You sure are scary" yagami sighed

"Sorry for the extreme change" I said still pissed of from that scene

"Sorry fujiwara, I'll be take your position for now" I smile apologetically

"Hasekura-senpai, please bear with me when the relation comes" I said

"No problem, we've trained together before right"

Third POV

Before the race, they already in their post and warming up with each other

Yagami with asuma, kuga with okumura, kohinata with chiyomatsu, hasekura with senoo, and last yasegawa with suwa.

"On your mark! Get set!"

As soon the alarm rang, yagami had a good start. They ran in small lane until yagami came out first

"Good! I have the lead, but.."

Even though yagami is first, asuma didn't saddened at all.

"Very good! Let's keep this up!"

When they near the curves, asuma took the lead and he used the pole to jump while yagami swing it.

"Kaede set!"

"Kuga-san set!"

The relation come to success but honan still can't take over, so far, kuga and okumura in the same position.

"Go!"

In chiyomatsu and kohinata race, chiyomatsu took the big lead while kohinata can't beat him using cheap tricks

Senoo took off first without hasekura caught up to him, same with suwa

As suwa ran meters ahead yasegawa, she suddenly took over him when they climb with taking shortcuts, of course that didn't last long
