I wake up so tired that I almost stay in bed. But the sooner I go to school and get it over with, I can go visit Jacob.
And he should be able to come home tonight.

My mom said if he leaves the hospital today that he can have dinner with us tonight. Which I'll probably make Mac&Cheese because it's his favorite.

I get dressed and ready to go.
I wear sweatpants and a sweatshirt because I give up on life lol. I also throw my hair up in a messy bun.

I try not to think of Jacob so I don't start crying but it's tough guys.
I hold back the tears as much as I can.

Ally knows not to mess with me today because of my mood.
I haven't talked to Ethan in ages. :/

I'll call Hunter after school and explain everything if he hasn't heard.

I just need to get my life straight right now.

I get on the bus with my ear buds in blasting sad music because yeah.

It feels weird being on the bus without Jacob.

I was about to put mascara on while I was on the bus but I decided better not.

The school day dragged on very slowly.
I longed for it to end.

Once the last bell rang I darted out of school and onto the bus.

I was about to get on the bus when Ethan stops me.

" hey...is everything okay..?" He asks.

" not really but ill survive. " I reply.

" okay..just wondering..we haven't talked in a while..." He rubs his arm.

" yeah...things haven't been too fabulous for me lately.." I say. I'm not lying.

" im sorry.."

" me too."

" why are you sorry?" He asks.

" that we haven't talked...I've just been an emotional wreck.." I shrug.

" it's fine..we should start talking more again. "

" yeah..I gotta go."

" bye."

I get on the bus blasting my sad music again.

I run inside my house and marshmallow is waiting for me at the door. I say my hello's to my kitten and walk to the family room.

A special someone is sitting on my couch.

" Jacob!" I whisper scream.

Since I only saw the back of his head I walk to to the front of him.

I immediately frown when I see an oxygen tank with tubes inside his nose.

" hey." He says sounding congested.

My eyes glaze over. I mean I'm glad he's okay but I don't wanna see him like this.

I sit next to him and hug him.

" Jacob.." I whisper.

" im okay brook." He says.

" I know but.." I rest my head in his shoulder.

" everything's alright Brooklynn."

He grabs my hand and I hold it tight.

Hunter.
he'll understand. this isn't wrong but it isn't exactly right.

" you hungry?" I ask.

" yeah." Jacob answers.

" I'll go make food. "

I make macaroni and cheese like I said I would and our family's eat together.

Jacob said he'd probably go to school tomorrow which I'm glad about. He talks about his time in the hospital which makes me really sad. But he talks about how he's doing good now, which makes me very happy.

Once were done eating I decide to call Hunter.
